| Subject: FAQ -- Got Questions? Ask Here! Thu Jan 10, 2013 9:13 pm | |
| Sometimes it’s difficult to find the answers you’re looking for and maybe you’re the type of person who needs their questions replied quickly. This thread should provide you most of the answers you need for the questions that have been asked before.
Most of these were asked and answered by the forum members at the old thread, but are now collaborated into an easier way to search for those answers, if this thread can make that possible for you.
Some questions have been omitted from the easy-to-view list as we do recommend you to visit other topics on the forum to give it a more active environment. So any questions relating to what unit/s is better, how much should you pay for a unit, what is considered a good trade, how much soul stones is needed to recruit a monster, and other game & event strategies will not appear within the list. Those questions can still be posted within this topic.
!!!If you have a question, please try to find it in one of the categories below first! If you are still confused, ask in this thread and someone will hopefully point you in the right answer!!!

| 03. AlliesQuestions relating to the availability of your allies are found here. Anything involving active skills on ally units will be found in the Skills section. If you are looking for specific allies, it’s good to check out the Looking for allies thread in the Game Discussion sub-forum.Most of the time, my allies will have 24 hours remaining for help. But why has it suddenly changed to 1 hour remaining and then after, I can't select them for help. I never had any “deployment limitations” before until now. What's going on?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) The first week you are in-game, you can deploy any ally you want. However after a week, you'll only be able to place allies that have been online within the past hour or so.
(dzone23) This happens when they have not been online. Once an ally goes offline, you cannot use them after an hour. Also, it's mentioned that if your ally is further along in the quests, then you would be unable to use them. This wouldn't be a problem in the future if you've completed all the quests available and would only be restricted by online status.
Best to get allies in your timezone, so that they're online when you play. Also, get rid of any allies that aren't active. You can see the last log on time on the ally screen.
(brokenchicken) For the first week after creating your account, you can use allies as much as you like. Once that week is over, you can only summon an ally if that ally has been logged in within an hour of the current time. "24 hours remaining" indicates that you're still in the first week.
(aszutai) If your first 7 days are up, the unlimited summoning grace period will be over sadly. From now on you can only summon allies who have just recently logged onto the game. The summoning time I think lasts anywhere between 30 minute to ~2 hours after they log off depending on various factors.
(Ghost_Star) After you lose your 'New Player Status', you can only call upon an ally that has logged on within the last hour.
(DarkUmbreon48) For the first seven days, your allies can be called whenever you need them. But after that, you need to call them within one hour of them being logged in, otherwise it will say they are unavailable. I've noticed that lately my allies availibilities don't seem to decay at the same rate. When they just logged in or are active, they all read '1 hr available'.
The default display order on the deploy ally page is last login time unless I am incorrect there, and their times are not in order: Ally 1 Login 7:45 1 hr(s) remaining Ally 2 Login 7:44 53 minutes remaining Ally 3 Login 7:30 1 hr(s) remaining Ally 4 Login 7:16 24 Minutes remaining Ally 5 Last login 7:00 1 hr(s) remaining Ally 6 last login 6:54 1 hr(s) remaining
I'm sure there is some obvious answer to this, and I very vaguely recall reading something about my player level and my allies' player levels and the relationship affecting available time, but I don't recall anything more than "I think I remember reading something about that."- Spoiler:
(predator852) Yeah if you are Lv100, this is simple. Ally #2 and 4 are at a higher level than 1, (they may be Lv100) so you have less time to call them: - So the timer sometimes begins at a lower # (A Lv5 player will never have more than 15 minutes to call a Lv100 player) - or you have more than an hour to call on those lower level allies, but the game cant do hours and minutes so in the case of Ally 5, you might be able to call them for 1:30mins, but for the first 30 mins it will just say an hour.
(themadmaznazn) Time an ally is available for is some function of your player level and their player level. Two level 100 players should be able to call each other for 1hour 59minutes (displayed as 1 hour still) which is really 2 hours.
(Ghost_Star) Just ally up with a bunch of addicts and you won't have to worry about it. I have a question about which allies would appear on the top of the list when helping out with quests. Say Ally 1 logs in and has been online for 5 hours straight. Ally 2 logs into the game right at the 5 hour mark. When you click on the Allies button, who will show up at the very top? Ally 1 or Ally 2?- Spoiler:
(Happiemealz) You appear at the top of your Allies page (i.e., you refresh yourself) when doing any of the following things:
1. Logging in, 2. Doing a quest, 3. Doing an event, 4. Doing training.
Essentially, any activity that requires you to use your lead. It doesn't refresh for things like enhancing your cards, going through your inbox, etc.
Going by your example, Ally 2 would appear at the top, but only for that brief moment until Ally 1 does one of activity's 2, 3 or 4. Ally tells me that his account's level 100 and leads with a maxed 5, but some of his 5 and 6* allies are available only for 15 minutes once their activity is refreshed. My understanding's that it should be for at least an hour regardless of the level differential between lead and ally, so I asked him to observe when they "refresh from being unavailable to available. He confirms it's 13-15 mins.- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) Quest progression also plays a factor into it as well. If your friend's allies are at Chapter 37 while your friend is still at Chapter 5, the time to deploy any online allies will be short.
Have seen the same amount of minutes with a Lv36 account at Chapter 10 try deploying a Lv100 ally at Chapter 37, but only had 10 minutes to do so after a quick online refresh.
Leader units have no effect on it. How will I know what the other players' timezones are?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) - Only accept/send out ally requests to people who have been on recently around the time you usually play. This isn't a foolproof method because someone could be on at night while you're on during your morning, but it helps. (This also means you should probably not send out friend requests right before you, say, go to bed, because the people who might accept then might not really be online the same time you are!) - Ally with someone and see how often you use them or see them on your "deployable ally" list. If you almost never see them online or don't get a chance to use them, it might be prudent to drop them for someone else. This will free up a spot for them as well!
(Crowex) - Otherwise, I really recommend just stalking players during what hours they play. I was wondering why I can recruit some players as allies and some I can't. Does it go by how many quests you have completed?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) Do you mean deploy allies? A week into the game, you lose the ability to deploy all of your allies whenever you want. Then you can only deploy allies that have been on in about the last ~1 hour, so you'll want to find allies that play around the same times you do.
If you mean people accepting you as allies... well, that's up to them. :p
(Varis) If you mean not able to push the recruit button on someone's profile, the answer to that is that either you or they are at max capacity on allies (there is a limit, and it's unfortunately pretty small...).
(Sientara) Also, there is a limit on open recruitments. If you have some that have been pending for a while, try cancelling those requests and try again. I ran into that problem before. Is there a way to determine which allies you can deploy? I have some allies that I can deploy almost all day, while there are others who are almost never deploy-able. What gives?- Spoiler:
(ElysianField) Before you start a Quest, there is a button called “Confirm Allies”. From there, you can see how much time you have left on each ally. How does the "Ally currently not available" thing works? As in, how much time does take for an ally to be available again?- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) Sadly, that ally of yours has currently gone offline and you won't be able to deploy them until they return back into the game. Best way to utilise their services is to be online during the times they are. When he log out of the game, you only get an hour to deploy before they return back to their complete offline status. Allies can be called during 1 hour since their last login, am I right? (1 hour if they are currently logged). But I have noticed that sometimes it is 30 minutes, no matter if they are online. I would like someone explain me briefly how that works exactly (I have searched this on the forum but have not found the question, if it was posted before sorry).- Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) I am not sure exactly what you mean by 30 minutes. You can call an ally within 2 hours (or is it 1 hour and 59 minutes?) of their last interaction with the game.
(Callanthe) Actually, I believe ally availability depends on quest progression (what chapter of questing you're on) If you're ahead of your ally in questing, they will be available for longer (2 hours?) If you're at the same quest chapter, they will be available for 1 hour. If you're behind them in quest progression, they will be available for 30 minutes.
(predator852) Actually it's a little deeper than that. Supposedly, you have 1 hour to call your ally if they are the same level as you. If they are a higher level than you, you will have less time from their last login. The bigger the gap the more time is subtracted. If you are a higher level than them, then you have more time to call them. Once again, the bigger the gap, the more time. It has been proven that 2 level 100 players actually have 2 hours to call each other, but the game can’t do hours+minutes so it only shows one hour left. So, is it common sense to remove inactive players and get active (always on) players that give you the opportunity to deploy them?- Spoiler:
(aszutai) I usually give my allies at least two weeks from their last login date before I remove them. But yea that's generally how things go, if you're low level you probably have to do it more often since people tend to drop out more often during that stage
Though eventually you'll have allies who are more and more committed to the game as you advance, right now my list is filled with allies who are very active, probably won't have to do that for a bit. Which I consider to be a good thing, don't really enjoy removing allies since I tend to feel bad about it. How can I contact an ally that has quit playing the game? I only have him/her in my allies list. I sent a mobage friend request but nothing. Should I try to battle him/her?- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) Battling is only going to work if they logon to the game and I think without other contact info, sending a Mobage request is about the best you can do. I get notifications on my phone when I get new ally requests but if they've uninstalled the game, then sending a new ally request would probably not work. Is there a specific details/rules that for a new player like me cant have 6* as an allies? (I have max 4* but not a single 5* card). I have a few 6* allies before the event start. On the 1st day of the event, those allies can still help me doing battle, but they all had been removed from my allies list on the 2nd day.... so if someone know the answer please tell me. - Spoiler:
(Demonsl) There are no "Rules" or "Details" for new players not having higher star allies.
For this event, they must've deleted you on the 2nd day, rather than the first; otherwise, that's a lucky glitch..? It's not you, personally, it's that you're not the type of "Strong" that they want, need or expect.
You could get strong allies (once again) as soon this event ends, probably. I'm still wondering how to add other players as allies using their game ID's. There doesn't seem to be a search ID option inside the Ally tab.- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) To use id #'s, you have to search via the trade button
Scroll through your bottom buttons to the Trade page and once that pops up you should see a field at the bottom of the page where you can enter someone's number. Doing so and hitting 'search' should bring up their page. How do you post a message on all your allies' profiles? When I write on my own profile, it just appears on my own wall, not my allies' walls.- Spoiler:
(ElysianField) Click on your Allies option and you can type a message there.
(SnowTempest) Open the Allies page and there's a little box on the bottom that you can type on. That sends to all allies. I was wondering how a player's wall work. Sometimes I see "Allies", "All", and none.- Spoiler:
(Happiemealz) If the wall message has the header of "Allies" in green, that means an ally of yours is talking specifically to you. It isn't a message broadcast to all his allies.
"All" in brown means that this ally of yours is broadcasting his message to all his allies.
If there isn't an "All" or "Allies"over the message, it simply means that someone who isn't an ally of yours wrote on your wall.

| 04. Items:Questions relating mostly about your inventory are found here. What is that (P) that appears for Time Elixirs (P) & Potions (P)? Also, do they expire?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) - (P) stands for Personal & means that those elixirs & potions cannot be traded from your account. They'll be used up before tradeable ones if you choose to use a potion or elixir.
(King-Shawe) - The (p) which exists on potions and elixers stands for personal, I believe. Anything marked with this cannot be traded and can only be used by you.
This was implemented to counter people who were cheating using multiple accounts/devices to "farm" potions and elixers from events, giving them an unfair advantage over everyone else.
(ChibiLeen) The (P) stands for "Personal". Time Elixirs and Potions with a (P) cannot be traded, and are only useful as support items during events. The advantage of these items lies in the fact that they are always spent first: if you have both personal and tradeable potions, the personal potions will be used up first if you decide to use a potion.
So you'll want to keep these items for events. A good stash of personal TE or Potions can help quite a bit then. They do not expire, so you can hoard them. So, I wanted to do a trade for 3 TE and 60k for this card, yet when I wanted to trade, I only had 1 TE in stock. This is the same with my Potions. Is there a reason to as why I only have 1 in stock but when I want to battle or do Quests, I have 3 TE left? - Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) There are two types of elixirs (and potions) -- personal and tradeable. The blue ones are personal, and can't be traded. When doing quests, etc, it'll show your total stock, and it'll use personal potions/elixirs before tradeable ones.
To check how many you actually have, start a trade with someone and go to “view items”. You can also check your stock of all items under "Shop --> Inventory." If you have TE/Pot (p) and TE/Pot, which will the program pick first if we are using it? How do you make sure that you are using a Time Elixir/Potion (P) instead of a regular one?- Spoiler:
(Dark Knight) Non tradeable will be chosen first. At least for me that’s what it did.
(clocksprocket) Personal potions or elixirs will always automatically be used first -- then the regular ones. What's the best way to the earn TE to buy cards? It seems to be the main currency but it's hard to obtain & some champions require 50+ TE.- Spoiler:
(HoundR) You get TE at the start of the game, during events, by trading your cards, or buying it directly on the Shop tab. Is it better to keep my premium tickets for an event, or should I just use them asap? I'm wondering if the limited edition units are available through the premium packs or just the boxes during the events.- Spoiler:
(zoebeagle) They’re only available through purchased boxes. Can you save things like soul stones for next events or are they removed from your inventory?- Spoiler:
(pnoytroi) The game puts them automatically into your Inventory until the next Reincarnation Event. Is there a market for blaze tickets?- Spoiler:
(Elysian-Field) You cannot trade blaze tickets. I got a Ring of Ages artifact set, but what do I do with it now?- Spoiler:
(Qaras) Unlocking all parts of a treasure set will give you a 4* monster. You can battle players to steal the treasures you need. How many artifact sets are there total?- Spoiler:
(bleachcosplay) Dec 18 2012 So far, there are five artifact sets total: Ring of Ages, Orb of Divinity, Holy Stave, Mystic Incense, and Blessed Pendant. Personally, I think it would be cool if they added another set, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
(Callanthe) Jan 27 2013 The new harp collection gives the 4* monster Arachne. About those 4* tickets, is it possible to get them as rewards? - Spoiler:
(predator852) So far, 4* plus tickets have only been given as event rewards and now, in 22 days, you can get one if you fill your bingo card! What are Soul Stones for?- Spoiler:
(Callanthe) Those are event items used during recruitment events. Basically, you use soulstones to try and turn specific monsters into hero units. 1 SS large = 40 SS small. Soulstones can be traded during recruitment events for extra TE--a recruitment event is coming up next week by the way. I'd advise you to either save your soulstones for a monster that's very good, or to sell them for time elixirs.
(hereticloki) The soulstones allow you to recruit Monster cards into units, but only during specific events. Since they are starting to appear again, the general expectation is that a recruitment event is coming soon... I started Fantasica during the last recruiting event and I believe my Soul Stones (S) were carried over from that event. Is there someone who will confirm this, and explain other items I may want to take inventory of for possible future use other than Potions/TE and Luna?- Spoiler:
(predator852) Go to the shop, on the bottom tab it says inventory, click it!
(memphiskite) I think he wants to know what other items get returned back to us, like the Soul Stones, into the inventory.
At the moment, I have only seen Soul Stones returning back to us.
The only items I'm definitely sure that don't get returned to us are: - Elixirs/Brews/Chips or stat boosting items during arena events that also give higher BT points gain. - Soul Spikes/Candies or similar items during training events that give high BT points when used on allies. - Dark Pacts/Summoning Charms or similar items during training events that lets you deploy 5 of your own units against bosses. - Blaze Tickets/Wish Tickets or similar tickets used during panel events that allow you to battle stronger bosses for higher BT points gain. I got a Minotaur from Leana's Exchange Shop but I can't get it out of my Inbox. The receive button is grayed out or not working.- Spoiler:
(Kadaan) Means your unit list is full. You need to sell/enhance/trade to clear up space.

| 05. QuestsQuestions relating to completing the standard quests can be found here. You can also check out the Quests and Exp thread in the Fantasica Encyclopedia sub-forum for more info on each quest if you want to prepare yourself for each fight. What map yields the best exp over difficultly?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) - Sept 18 2012 Currently, 24-6 gives the most exp per unit.
(Callanthe) 24-6 gives 585 exp and has a 5 min cooldown. It is the best quest to grind if you're multitasking. The more allies you deploy, the more exp you get btw. 2-7 is the best for grinding because of its short cooldown, but it's time-consuming to do it over and over. Unfortunately, all grinding is like this.
(larrydust) Running quest 35-4 with 5 allies gets me 615exp. I think it may be the best 5 minute quest at the moment. (2-7 is still the best overall at 308exp/1min.) How much exp does 24-6 give again? This is because 20-6 gives 525 on 100% with 5 allies.- Spoiler:
(CreativeCC) I think 24-6 gives 585 exp with 5 allies too.
(clocksprocket) As a side-note, 25-6 actually gives less than 24-6 does. I know 24-6 is the best quest for exp. Is there any reason not to use multiple units if you are trying to level more than one? I am currently working on maxing several 4* units. If you use 2, does the exp split 50/50 or do you get less, and some exp goes to the void? Thanks!- Spoiler:
(Pandy) From what I've seen it splits evenly, and because the exp given is an odd number, it rounds down.
(memphiskite) When doing 24-6, here's how the exp is shared, according to what my phone says: (Tested it with Ignat, Gremory, Gustav & Rem, but I don't think what unit is used matters) Deploy only one unit + 5 allies = 585 exp for one Deploy two units + 5 allies = 292 exp for each (584 total) Deploy three units + 5 allies = 195 exp for each (585 total) Deploy four units + 5 allies = 146 exp for each (584 total) Do any of the new quests give better exp than 24-6? Has anyone finished them all yet?- Spoiler:
(zoebeagle) The first 3 do not. 26-3 gives like 506, I think.
(Sientara) 26-6 gives 574 exp. Not worth slogging through 73 goblins and a troll. What are the best quests to repeat for exp if I’m not at 24-6 yet?- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) Nov 17 2012 The best quests are all of the ones that stand in between you and 24-6. It would probably be a good idea to unlock everything then go back to 24-6.
Edit: The last quest now available gives better exp than 24-6 but is much more challenging. For the current event 25-3 gives the most BT points, which is why it’s a good idea to unlock everything before you worry too much about farming, unless you’re stuck. If the next event adds new quests/trainings you'll be that much closer to the best one.
For gold cards I assume you mean a 2* card from training's, you only need to get the gold card on each training if you have OCD. It’s generally agreed upon that 10-4 is the best training quest to do for most 2*/gold. I suggest you just farm up to that until you can afford to level up your training points to 300 then do all of the others to the end, the bosses give great gold and during the last training event the last one available was thought to give the best chance of boss encounters although that’s not really documented. Any tips on how to get past quest 20-1? There is no AoE crowd control so mobs seem to just walk past slowly.- Spoiler:
(Crowex) There are actually units with the Area Attack skills but I think that several fast melee units would be more effective (I just checked and I used all magic units, mummies are strong against magic.) So your best bet is to get some fast melee units along with Knockback and Slow.
(Thetaii) I used all my high level/fast melee units and beat the quest super fast.
(aszutai) Melee units are your friend against mummies. What quest has the most sea monsters?- Spoiler:
(po1102) I did 9-2 for it; some say 9-3 is good too. Any idea if there's a reward on finishing 100% of the quests. I’m talking about the ally-challenge and solo quests.- Spoiler:
(MrUbiquity) Finished them 2 days ago, and sadly... No rewards. What happens when you use your own max level card with a non max card and clear a quest? Does the exp still split resulting in loss of exp for the max level card or does the non max take all the exp? Does it get divided between my other units that have not maxed? I do not wish to waste any EXP points.- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) It still splits.
(Raiyn41) A max card still eats exp. The total experience is divided by the number of units you have deployed so yeah, to get full amount you need to just deploy the 1 unit that needs to level.
(Thyruz) The exp is always shared, even if a unit is maxed already. What's the point of the red quests? Like Solo, Ally, and Challenge quests?- Spoiler:
(eskoi) I don't think they really serve a purpose to be honest.
(memphiskite) They're considered a 'challenge' to test your skills..... If you don't have any high leveled units... Just skip them and do it if you're completely bored out of your brain.
(ElysianField) You get no reward and the exp isn't that good for the 15 minute wait. They’re awesome to just finish if you have to go and can squeeze in a quest. I’m at 20-1 and I’m stuck! I finished the other 6 stages but I can’t do 20-1. There are too many monsters and the map is small so they just ran pass by me. What’s a good strategy for me to kill them all?- Spoiler:
(chaosbladeuk) Ok, you are up against mummies. The only thing that is really effective against them is melee units - the faster the better. If you have Sonia or any allies that have her, use her. Otherwise, any good level 4* melee will do the trick. I recommend Anton, Dhimitrios and Angela. I'm assuming there isn't a way, but I may as well ask. I sometimes accidentally click on 29-7, thinking it's 2-7, and get stuck with a 1 hour cooldown and I want to jump out my window. Is there a way to somehow get out of the quest so it doesn't trigger the cooldown?- Spoiler:
(Isylia) None that I know of... I once force closed and it was an auto loss and the CD start.
(Whenesday) Unfortunately no, as long you clicked onto a button which supposed to have cooldown (Quest, Battles, Event-related), it’s most likely to trigger the activation and the cooldown, even if you disconnect / shut-down the client.
(ChibiLeen) I confirm that. The cooldown actually activates as soon as you click on the quest, not when you finish it. So when you have clicked on the wrong quest, you're stuck with the cooldown that comes with it. I can't tell very well which quests are the best for grinding exp. I've been doing 2-7 over and over again (because of its short cooldown), but it's quite tedious. Are there any better spots? (I'm only on chapter 11, but I could probably power level through if that's what it would take)- Spoiler:
(po1102) 2-7 is the best right now, highest exp rate and no annoying dialog popup. And lol, grinding is supposed to be tedious for most people. Recently my units have failed to gain any exp outside of enhancing. Most of my units are Lv15, but they gain no exp from quests/missions. It will tell me they get 53 exp for each unit, but they do not receive it. Extremely frustrating. Any ideas?- Spoiler:
(aszutai) One possibly with your problem could because of the way they display exp values. Which is kinda weird, during enhancement they display the % of exp gained for the unit. During quest they display the actual exp points your units received, which at lv 15, 53 exp points is about 7% of that lvl so the bar might not have moved much. In contrast to the 53% you get during enhancement, which is actually 53% of that level.
(BkWiz) You are gaining 53 exp. But that is not the same as your XP bar. The bar goes from 1-100 percent. It is not the number you get from training. 53 'exp' from a quest might only = 1% xp at higher levels. Is there a way to lock your quests on a certain chapter even after you've completed it? Training always goes back to the last chapter you were on, but I keep having to change the chapter every time i go to do quests.- Spoiler:
(Crowex) Not that I know of, it's always been that way. Sorry.
(Ghost_Star) After you complete your quest, if you hit your 'Choose Quest' button again as apposed to 'My Page' it will bring you back to the last chapter you selected from. But yeah, if you go to the home page you get brought back to the last one available.

| 06. Training:Any questions relating to how the Training tasks work goes here. It’s also a good idea to check out the Training Rewards thread in the Fantasica Encyclopedia sub-forum if you are curious about what units you can find in each training mission.Which training quest has the best cards? We have established 24-6 is best for leveling up cards. I just wondered which one has the 'best' cards to win.- Spoiler:
(ElysianField) 10-4 it was, I think, as it gives you lot of 2* bears.
It also contains luna chests with any of the following amounts: 3500, 15000 & 60000. Cockatrice with 38 exp and 67 luna Harpy with 40 exp and 69 luna Bicorn with 44 exp and 73 luna In Training, how many training points do you get back over time? Anyone know the rate at which TP is restored?- Spoiler:
(Help Centre) 10TP per minute (60 seconds) Anyone know what quests/training missions are good to do for Luna nowadays?- Spoiler:
(Kadaan) Same as always; training 10-4 and sell your 2* bears as feeders. Nothing else even comes close. I just got to 26-5 (training) recently and after about 15 runs, I still havent gotten the 3* and at least 5 runs had only monsters. Is the drop rate meant to be that low? I've gotten a total of 8 2*s in that 15 runs.- Spoiler:
(HoundR) Yeah, gold-framed cards usually drop a lot less than the other 3 cards. Which training mission will give me the most SSS out of the current available options?- Spoiler:

| 07. Battles:Any small questions relating to battles among other players can be found here. However, it is better to check out the Need help on setting up defense thread in the Game Discussion sub-forum to get a better understanding of setting it up.Recently I'm getting small amounts of luna (500-1000 luna) after each battle, while a week back or so, I would get 10k. I'm wondering if it has something to do with my player level, my opponent's level and/or the heroes and monsters used. How does the game determine how much luna you get after a battle?- Spoiler:
(Yoruno) My guess is that it depends on how much he currently has and you get a certain % of his current wealth, with 10k as limit.
(clocksprocket) If you're successful, you get 10% of the luna in their vault, for a max of 10k if they have 100k and over. When battling other players, is there a way to attack the same person multiple times? I checked my history today and the same person attacked me twice in a row so I attacked back and won. A few minutes later, that person attacked me again but when I tried to attack back, it says I can't attack him. How is it that he can attack me 3 times but I can only attack him once? I don’t even have the option to use an elixir to attack him either.- Spoiler:
(po1102) You should be able to attack the same person, at most 3 times a day. I have no idea what happened there though. I am being attacked by a player 3 times daily since Nov 4th. I did not provoke this person at all, never talked to him, nor did I ever attack him. On advice from allies I bank my luna, but he still keeps attacking me. It is annoying to have to ask allies to help hide my luna. My question is, what can I do about it? Would it do any good to report this player?- Spoiler:
(Dispaloe) Me personally, I would attack that a-hole back and show him what's what! But eventually, they can't attack you anymore for a while.
(karmacappa) There is no way to get someone to stop attacking you by blocking their Mobage account. Is there a limit on how often you get attacked? I'm being attacked on average twice every 30 min and its getting really irritating. They only steal 1000 luna each time too, its not like there's people farming me for luna.
I didn't have this happening before but recently I've been waking up to 6-7 attacks.- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) Every player can only attack an individual 3 times a day max. However, there is no record of how many various players that can attack you within a day. If you somehow annoyed a lot of people at once or provoked players to attack you, you could look up to around more than 100 attacks within a short period. As for getting that amount of attacks, it could involve who your leader is, how many wins/losses you have, your last highest event ranking, or various other factors that may make others want to attack you.
Since this is a part of the game itself, certain players will use this feature for their enjoyment or other reasons, so the best you can avoid disappointment with it is either create a decent defense or bank your luna to avoid losing any. How can you remove the “you have been attacked by....” popup message in the home profile? It feels like it’s stuck there forever and I really hate seeing it flash off and on.- Spoiler:
(Lenneth) View history - attack section. Once you view it, it will disappear. Just fought with my ally in the PVP event, and wondered - if he (or I) had no other allies, would we have to fight our own leaders?- Spoiler:
(aszutai) That happened with my allies before; he fought me and summoned my leader at the same time. So there were two copies of her at that battle. How does PvP actually work? I've had 2 artifacts stolen from me so far and I'm not sure how I'm supposed to prevent that.- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) PvP is a term used for the Arena/Colessium challenges that happen during the specified events.
As for picking a fight with an unknown player (or your very own ally - seriously you can do that), the idea is mostly breaking through their castle defenses, which consists of mostly monsters held within their unit list (not in their bank/storage/place where you pick up loot/gifts from trades &/or events. If you are able to pass through the enemy's defense, you win their a portion of their luna (maximum limit is 10K) and an artifact if you chose to steal one before initiating combat.
To avoid getting a loss from standard battles, you will need to get a hold of monsters and arrange them in a way that prevents your opponents from defeating them. High ranked monsters give off high HP as you feed them with other units &/or monsters, which is the only way to make them stronger.
If you go to your Units section and filter the list to Default & Monsters at the bottom of the screen, the arrangement will show how the monsters will show up against your opponents.
There's a lot more to say about this gameplay, but it's best for you to seek that information out. Is there a point to battling if you’re Level 100, completed all artifact sets and don’t care about luna?- Spoiler:
(TypeAlpha) It's there because it is. You can choose to battle or not, that is entirely up to you. Battling people (successfully) can get you some Luna, and earn you some ally points which you will need to up your profile skills. Other than that, battling people can sometimes tick them off.
(bleachcosplay) In addition to what TypeAlpha said, an important reason to do battles is to unlock the Battle Seasoned skill, which unlocks after 300 battles (wins+losses). The battle seasoned skills increases the level of a skill by 1, so Poison Lv.2 will become Lv.3, Slow Lv.6 will become Slow Lv.7, etc. Other than that, you can do it to check out people's defense. For example, Duy has a very impressive defense that a lot of people try to beat. I have a question about attacking other players. I noticed recently I have been attacked countless times a day, whereas before I would rarely get attacked at all. My question is does something affect how frequently you appear on other player's attack search list?- Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) Nothing affects whether you show up on the attack sheet that I am aware of, but you could be attracting attackers in other ways such as (1) attacking them (2) having artifacts they want to steal (3) attacking their allies (4) other forms of visibility (such as rare card draw or high rank). Is it considered bad form to battle other players? I've been doing it every time it's available but no one else has retaliated against me and now I'm wondering if I'm being a jerk.- Spoiler:
(aszutai) Depends on the player, some don't like getting attacked and will retaliate while others might not care. You don't really loose much from a battle, possibly an artifact & up to 10k luna, which is laughable at higher lvls.
Just avoid attacking the same person multiple times, as they might start to take it personally.
(ChibiLeen) I don't mind at all being attacked once, if it's for an artifact or as a revenge attack. But if people start attacking me multiple times, this annoys me. I'd say that attacking once is okay, revenge attacking once is fair, attacking multiple times - especially in the same day - is considered bad taste and can be taken personally. I believe there are quite a few endless revenge feuds going on at all times in Fanta.
Quick tip: if you're collecting artifacts or attacking to max Battle Seasoned, try to select players who haven't logged on in a while (i.e. in several weeks/months). Chances are they've quit the game, and won't mind being attacked. Am I missing something here about in-game etiquette regarding battles? I have been randomly choosing opponents using the battle feature and deploying 1 character from my army and the rest from my allies list in order to claim the experience and ally points every hour. However, I was recently criticized for "abusing" the help of my allies and using them to "bully" others by a user I've only attacked once at random....- Spoiler:
(VitaeMortifer) There is no etiquette for battling really. It's annoying to lose some Luna, but at worst it's 10k and you can earn that in one training session. I've never ever heard of this abusing allies thing once. There's no actual way for this guy to even know that you're using your allies, as far as I can tell.

| Subject: Events Thu Jan 10, 2013 9:28 pm | |
| 08. EventsIt’s best to keep all event-related questions in the Current Events [Public] sub-forum, and most of your answers can be found or in the Current Events sub-forum as it will be updated with the correct information when possible. However, for any simple and common questions, you may be able to find it here.I joined after the Demon's Tower Event ended & never had a chance to try it. How does an event like that work? I see they have a new one being released on the 14th. Like, do they use training points or what? - Spoiler:
(struesdell) The Demon Tower event had a 10 minute cool down separate from your quest or battle cool downs. You could spend time elixirs to reset the cool down normally.
I think I read that the next event has something new called ‘Elven Elixirs’ but I'm not sure how they work. Do abilities do anything during boss fights in Black Dragon Castle or Halls of Valhalla, such as Poison?- Spoiler:
(Yoruno) As far as I’ve noticed, Poison didn’t work so I’m guessing...nope.
(Zaelar) All skills do nothing to bosses (Attack Boost on allies still works though). Does attack boost work in boss fights on either Tower or Training events?- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) Training - No Bosses - I don't think so, but the attack/speed boosting skills leveled from ally points do. Tower - Yes How significant is a boss monster's weakness?- Spoiler:
(Zaelar) D is +25% damage, C is normal damage, B is -50% damage, A is -75% damage, S is -90% damage. In general I avoid using units that are b or worse to a boss, then only care about the c/d difference when my options are close.
(themadmanazn) Weaknesses are based off of the rating. Here is a rough approximate A - Very Resistant B - Highly Resistant C - No Resistance D - Minor Weakness E - High Weakness Let’s say your melee creature's attack power against ground is 10,000 and the boss (or any monster for that matter) is a ground monster and has a resistance of C to melee, which means each hit will do 10,000 damage.
(predator852) Just to piggyback on you two a little, boss resistance, like speed, can be a range of things. I.E. both the Imp and Succubus have S resistance to magic, but the Succubus is immune and the imp still takes about 5% damage from magic attacks.
So themadmanazn is right, you get a general estimate from the letter scores, but every monster with a C in melee will not take 100% damage. So my boyfriend and I are both on Act 6, and he has done the battle 4 times and gotten "A boss approaches". Anyone know what causes that? It gives him insane BT Points, and I'm jealous. He's had at least 8 of them in the last 3 hours, gained over 10,000 BT points. I haven't even gotten one and I've been playing every 10 minutes all day long.- Spoiler:
(TwistedOne1) From what I can tell, it is random. I have had that a few times, sometimes with 15 battles between, others with 3.
(po1102) Yea I know, it sucks; but that's what being random means. LOL It seems burning pots gives you a rain of boss fights for some reason, but I don't think you should do that if you're not high on the ranking. How do I get out of a MISSION Event? I'm on the second mission of the event & cannot spend more curious as I pass. How to leave a quest event? I'm in the second mission of the event, but I cannot pass. I want to know how to get out of a mission without killing the boss.- Spoiler:
(senzas) To move on you have to kill that boss, her HP will stay the same as you left it. Certain bosses are weak against certain units so use them to your advantage. In arena events such as the ‘Venus Colosseum’ and ‘The Key of Goetia’, what determines attack strength? Is it ground strength or a combination of ground, air, and sea?- Spoiler:
(Ghost_star) If you go into the threads for those events, you will find the detailed info you are looking for. The basic premise is the attack strength is the highest attack value plus a percentage of the others. Now, the equation they have isn’t exact as there are lots of unknown factors like how much your skills affect the numbers, but here is an example:
Furfur: Land 17,165, Air 19387, Sea 20,898 (Sea + (.25*(Land+Air))= 30,036 attack Drea: Land 17,514 Air 21,580, Sea 15,497 (Air + (.25* (Land+Sea))= 29,833 attack Achillia: Land 34,691, Air 0, Sea 6,173 (Land + (.25*(Air+Sea) = 36,234 attack
So you can see that the main or strongest value has more impact on a unit’s strength than the total. Both Furfur and Drea have total attacks of about 55k vs achillia of 35k, however Achillia will do about 6k more damage per attack on tower bosses and in arenas.
Edit: For non-tower bosses, it will only take the bosses corresponding attack type: Ground - Melee, Flying - Air, Sea - Sea so with a unit like Achilia, it will do about 35k dmg to a ground monster/boss but nothing to an Flying and 6k to a Sea type. I am on my third lap of the 31st floor in the ‘Amazons of the Hidden Jungle’ event. The last two bosses I defeated didn't give me any gifts after defeating them. I was just wondering if that's an error or if it's normal. - Spoiler:
(Thyruz) No more rewards after the second lap – That’s normal. Should I use the summoner's charms? Or do they carry over to other events as well?- Spoiler:
(rotarywhiz) Use them as they most likely will not carry over. They have not in the past. OK, I hope someone can take a moment and explain something for me. I understand that the higher the letter, the higher their defense, and I do know the units have icons that represent which damage type they are, but what I don't understand is which type they are using while fighting a boss. For instance, I am currently on Lap 2 Floor 40 and barely scratched the boss with units doing 33k, 30k, 28k, 25k with their melee damage. Is their melee/air/sea damage irrelevant and just matters on which type of damage they are? Or how should I be picking my units depending on the boss?- Spoiler:
(chaosbladeuk) Each of your units has a type and the damage it deals to certain monster types. For here you need someone who is a melee or magic type and has a high value in their GROUND attack (the first value of the three values they have).
So, for instance, something like Vlad will do well against Hera because he is a melee unit and his ground attack is the highest in the game. If he is going against an Air type, his ground and sea attack value will be ignored and his Air value will then apply against that monster.
You need to look at the type of unit you're deploying and the single value that represents the damage they will deal versus the monster that they are fighting.
Only one value of your unit’s stats will apply to each monster. How do you send Candies/Soul Spikes/Aura Spikes?- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) Probably best asked in the public event discussion area but an ally will ask for assistance and then you will have the option to assist with a spike. It might take a while before you get this as most people, especially ones not knowing wont ask for assistance for a few days as the bosses will be super easy until then.
If you have a ton of spikes to burn, ask your allies to send assists request, if just a handful hold tight, they will come. I've seen in a couple of shops that people say that the 4* unit Vilhelm does "double attack" in arena events. Is this true, and if so what exactly does that translate to? Is Vilhelm decent for arena if you were limited to 4*s? (I assumed he wasn't since he's C speed with no ability)- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) that ability will only come out for a future arena type event and I think will only be available during that event... possibly arena events afterwards as well. For the training events (Soul Hunters), do we have to go through the event page to train or will the normal training button do the same?- Spoiler:
(aszutai) Results are the same, just make sure you register to enter event first through the event page. What is the 'Recycle Event'?- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) The Recycle Event has only been release in Japan, and i think you just turn in cards for points and use those points for a random reward... I'm not too sure what all the rewards are but one of them is a Fruit and with enough of those, you can increase the * of a card, i.e. take a 5* and make it a 6. How do you we lower the phantoms level in the event?- Spoiler:
(ThePaleRabbit) Encounter one. Fight it. Lose. Let the 30 minutes run down. Phantom flees. Next time you encounter it, the Phantom should be 3 levels lower if I remember correctly.
(MazinKaiser21) I'd also like to emphasize that you MUST start a fight against it and lose rather than just clicking flee when you encounter it. I saw a lot of people during the last Soul Hunters think that simply clicking flee lowers their level. Do Aura Spikes disappear forever after the event is over? Or does my inventory saves it until the event comes back?- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) Any items that are specific for use within the currently active event will disappear once the event ends and will not return for future use. The only exceptions to this rule are Time Elixers, Potions & Soul Stones.
I also wanted to mention that event-specific items always gets named differently to previous event items, so that your old stock doesn't become reusable if you didn't burn it. Notice how Soul Hunters used 'Soul Spikes' but Soul Hunters: Vengenance now uses 'Aura Spikes'... In 'Flowers for the Star Maiden' event, why did they make it so you could pull all the other maidens (besides Sola) but Mel with the maiden tickets?- Spoiler:
(lace) She won the event so she is not allowed to be pulled from the packs. That's apparently how these events work. It seems like they skipped over 'The Sacred Mountain of 4 Gods' (rough translation), when the Japanese Version was over 6 months ago. Is there any rhyme or reason why they skip/delay some events or put them out of order compared to Japan's order of events?- Spoiler:
(Cam) This is just my thought:
The Four Gods event introduces the first 7*. Once they give us a 7* people are going to start saving [more] money for events with 7*s and not pay as much for events with only 6* rewards. So they are exhausting events without 7* rewards first.
Of course SS knows that a lot of players are already saving money for the 7* events, but I think it's still smart money-wise for SS to hold out because players knowing 7*s are coming and actually having 7*s in the game is completely different. Right now it's a lot of hype, but once you see that 7* in-game that hype will change into something more.
So my opinion in short: Money.
(Blargod) Pretty much what Cam said. It's simply more cost effectient for them to play out events without 7*s first even if these events have been long made.
Personally, I think this sort of power creeping is in the wrong direction and I'd like to know if this had a negative impact on their sales in the versions of Fantasica that have already released these events.
(BkWiz) You guys kind of missed the point.
We aren't on the same pattern as Japanese server. So looking at the Japanese pattern of events =/= US pattern of events.
That being said, what Cam and Blar have pointed out is also true. They are probably releasing all the 6* events before toting out the 7* ones.
(Kadaan) Yeah, we've never followed the JP order exactly. Sometimes we'll get two or three in order, but for each one in order we get at least that many out of order.
Trials of Sol-Lune has had the biggest delay so far; we got it almost 8 months after Japan did (7/5/2012 in Japan, 2/28/2013 for us.)

| Subject: Units & Monsters Thu Jan 10, 2013 9:28 pm | |
| 09. Units & MonstersAny questions relating to the unit & monster cards themselves (not involving how to get them) can be found here. There are also lots of questions & answers around the forum as well, so good luck trying to find any sort of information you’re looking for. There will be no questions/answers here relating to which unit/s are the best to have, as that is an opinionated discussion among various players. As for how much a card is worth, please ask in the Trading Centre sub-forum.Is there any website with full list of cards and info on them? I tried to google it, but I couldnt find any good ones.- Spoiler:
(kinesis) I ripped this from somewhere. Sorry for not crediting. Change the last number from 6 to whatever for the star rating. JP link to Fantasica units on wiki
(mistive) Here you go I only know of Alex, Claudio, & Camille who have the Attack Boosting skill, but is there anyone else, especially 5* or 6*?- Spoiler:
There are currently no other units with that skill, other than the ones mentioned, as of this point. So I was wondering about that ‘Atk Boost to Palace Guards’ skill... Does the skill move boost/affect other Camille cards?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) Well theoretically, the different boosts would stack, but I guess two of the same type wouldn't. Can you imagine a posse of Camilles then?
(larrydust) Camille's Attack Boost (Palace Guard) does not stack with a second Camille's Attack Boost (Palace Guard).
Camille's Attack Boost (Palace Guard) does stack with Alex's Attack Boost (Male). You can see some pretty high attack numbers with this combination!
(Colaleon) The skill boosts himself, Auguste (3*), Dominique (2*) and Baudouin (1*). In other words it only boosts himself, because you'll never want to use those other units.
In normal Arena (colloseum), Camille boosts his attack (and that of other Palace Guards) by 50% for one round. A level 100 Camille normally deals 64350 if you have all your skills maxed, but if his boost activates he will deal 96525 that round.
In the Battle Arena, Camille boosts ALL your units - NOT including himself - by 17% for one round. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's meant to be like this, but I'm sure that this is how it worked last Battle Arena event. Why do people mostly suggest Claudio with Atk Boost (Female) Lv.2 skill, if we can use Benedetta or Alex with their Atk Boost (Male) Lv.4 skill? And how much is the increase anyway? I reckon around 15%, is it correct? with the Seal of Archangels skill being 10% more, so it becomes 25% total?- Spoiler:
(ChibiLeen) The reason why people mention Claudio far more often than Alex or Benedetta is because there are far more female units than male ones in Fantasica. I haven't drawn a chart or compared all stats in detail, but I'm still pretty sure that in addition to that, all the most powerful units in all star tier categories are female. It's hard to assemble a good male team for a quest or a boss, because most of the time, only a couple of your allies will have good male units as their leader.
So yes, Claudio's usefulness outweighs Alex's or Benedetta's, and I'm certain that this is why he's the only Female Attack Boost we have. Imagine a unit with Female Attack Boost 4: a 25% boost from the skill itself, plus 10% from Seal of Archangels, plus an additional 5% from Battle Seasoned if you put that unit as leader... That would give us a 40% boost, which, if used in conjunction with powerful 6*'s, would make some of the challenges way too easy. As things are, you can already get a boost of up to 30% out of Claudio, which is not bad at all (15% from the skill, 10% from SoA, 5% from Battle Seasoned).
Since I don't have any 6* units, I've deployed Claudio on boss battles in conjunction with my most powerful allies during Halls of Valhalla, and did way more damage than if I had deployed my most powerful 5*. Does Alex's Attack Boost skill gets stronger as she levels up? In other words, is a Lv1 Alex and a Lv80 Alex the same in terms of its Attack Boost power? - Spoiler:
(ChibiLeen) What matters is not the level of the unit, but the skill level. A lvl 1 Alex will give the same boost as a max Alex. If you unlock Battle Seasoned and set Alex as your lead, only then will her Attack Boost improve (since her skill will go from Attack Boost 4 to Attack Boost 5). I've seen monsters listed as m/u, which I'm guessing is monster/upgraded to unit. I wanted to ask if 6* monsters have the same value as 6* heroes? Or are they significantly cheaper?- Spoiler:
(struesdell) - Sept 21st 2012 I tend to feel significantly cheaper.
Heroes you use for lots of things, and they directly contribute to your event success and as such the very best of them (6*s) are worth a lot.
Monsters you use to defend your Luna from predators. The kinds of predators that are a serious threat usually have a serious offense in heroes, so you need the very best monster strategy to stop people who are determined to beat you and take your Luna. As a result of the uneven acceleration of power between the two spheres, most players dedicate themselves to offense and ignore their defense, preferring instead to practice banking their Luna as a passive defense rather than worrying about the active defense.
Since nobody is defending or serious about spending the luna it takes to make a defense work, demand is down.
(bleachcosplay) - Jan 19th 2013 Generally, unit will be worth more than its monster version. However, for certain units, if the monster version becomes rare enough, then that monster can equal the unit's worth. Is there an actual market for 6* non-recruitable monsters? I recently pulled a Dullahan, and while he's cool and all, it feels a bit like a booby prize. I occasionally see people trying to sell Fafnir but I don't know if anyone ever buys or trades for them.- Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) They tend to not top be worth as much as 6* units, but they are certainly worth more than most 5* units currently. You just gotta find the right buyer. How is Poison damage figured out? Also, is the number of 'hits' Poison does tie to the skill level of the Unit? Like Poison 4= 4 hits of poison before it wears off.- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) I imagine higher skill level is either higher damage per tick, more ticks, or faster ticks, but I haven't really tested that out.
(Curasa) Poison = Highest form of damage divided by 4, then that number multiplied by the percent of poison Skill. It hits the number of times listed on the Unit. Is there a way to rearrange your monsters to make the order they come out different when people attack you?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) I believe monsters appear in the order that they are in your inventory (on default). So in order to organize them, you would need to trade with someone (and have them cancel) to put the monsters in your inbox, and then withdraw them in the order you want them to appear.
(aipad) The order of monsters appearing strictly follows the order the cards are placed into your inventory. Send them to someone in a trade and ask them to cancel so they are stored in your mailbox. Then you can retrieve them one by one to control the order.
As for building a defense, as others have mentioned, you will need a substantial investment in order for it to be effective at repelling attackers. This is because you need to get both the monsters themselves, and the feeds to level them, since monsters cannot be leveled any other way. The best makeshift defense is a drawn out one until you have the resources to make the commitment. Is there a way to reorganize your favorite cards? Is it just based on when you got them?- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) Your cards are automatically organized in the order of when you receive it into your unit list, either through opening chests in training, or from your inbox after event completions and/or trades. If you change the 'Sort by' button at the bottom left corner in the Unit tab to say 'Default', that will show you the self-explanatory order of your cards. Using that button and the 'Type' will allow you to change what you want to see as well. Any selections you make on them will stay the next time you enter into the Unit tab.
This can also be done during your quests, battles and event quests as well, but the changes on the sorting will revert back to Default the next time you go to any quest, battle or event.
Please be mindful that these buttons do not change the order of your monsters for your defense. You will need to do the 'trade-and-cancel' process to properly reorganize your cards. Anyone know what other uses for adding a monster on favorites besides protecting it from accidental trade?- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) Hmmm... just accidental enchanting and I think it will sort them in the Units page. Anyone know how the home page unit lineup is formed? I’m talking about the 5 units whose portraits make up a banner for your own page. I know the middle is the leader but the other four seem to be more or less random. They always tend to be the first cards I've ever drawn from a pack since playing or units I used a lot recently. I was wondering if you can voluntarily change it.- Spoiler:
(Crowex) I believe it's based on highest level cards but I could be wrong. I've had a Level 56 Angela appear while I had stronger cards in my inventory.
(profile4) For me, it is always the units that I have on my favorites list. I only have 4 favorites, so it is always the same. When I don't have 4 favorites, then it randomly chooses the remaining ones.
(Shokkeru) Middle is leader for sure. The rest, I've noticed were the units I've used the most (units I've been leveling through quests). So probably the only way to change it is to use certain units more.
(Sientara) Those seem to be your 4 most used units in random order. Just use the ones you like more.
(Elysian-Field) I think the units that you have as favorites will show up faster than units than you use more.
(memphiskite) My 3* feeders have been showing up when all I've done to them is enhance them with my bears... Thought you might like to know that...
(Elysian-Field) That's interesting. I have 5 units on Favorites and I keep seeing those at the top while I level up 3*'s frequently now.
(Sientara) The 5 I have on top are all favorites, but since I favorite everything I like to prevent enhancing mis-clicks, it is not the best indicator. Within my favorites, it does seem to be most used, the units I have used during the tower events (Lies, Sam, Kiki) and the ones I used the most in quests (Kyo, Dhimi, Chris, Adel) show up first. As I got rid of them, and/or used them for enhancing they were replaced.
(ChibiLeen) From what I could observe, the center one is the current leader, and the other four are units that have been recently deployed, or possibly the units that have been deployed the most.
(Happiemealz) The centre of the 5 is your leader. Those that appear to the left and right of your leader are determined based on usage for quests and events (note that experience gained is not a factor, only usage).
Also. if you were to inbox one of these guys, then take him/her out again and into your inventory, there is a "reset", i.e. the character would be "fresh" and probably not appear on your profile.
If all the units in your inventory are fresh, it would go in the order of which you acquired first.
With Monsters, I see no reliable scale of S - A - B - C - D - defence. How much % of all attacks will be removed /added based on defence? If you have skills do they help, because it seems like they take the Base damage with allies.- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) I think it's supposed to be: S: -100% damage A: -50% damage B: -25% C: no scaling -- attacks at same stats displayed on card D: +25% damage E: +50% damage? Does the special skills units have stack?
Say for instance: Gloria with Poison 4 and Meg with Poison 5 attack one monster in quest. - Is that ticking number the total poison damage from both units or just whoever has the higher poison skill level? Or is it by whoever did the most damage converted into poison, let's say, max lvl80 Gloria and lvl1 Meg? Whose damage is that ticking number?
The same goes with Slow. Does Slow4 and Slow5 make them go twice as slow (or somewhat slower)? Or do they remain the same speed as whichever slow was higher level?
I feel like Knockbacks do stack, although it's kind of hard to tell really...- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) I haven't tested, but wouldn't there be a poison tick for each unit hitting with poison? Slow just refreshes the de-buff, I think, but knockback definitely knocks back individually. What are the LE cards I keep seeing mentioned? Is there a way to know if they are LE, which I assume means Limited Edition?- Spoiler:
(Danaerys83) ‘Limited Edition’ cards are basically any card that is won from an event or monsters recruited through events or even pulled from card packs associated with events.
You can use the Fantasica Card Google Spreadsheet to look at the different cards. If you look under the "comment" drop down list, you can filter them by the different events or card packs that have been released so far. Hi, so I just started the game and I can't figure out how to see other people's cards to trade with. Any help?- Spoiler:
(Dark Knight) As far as I'm aware, you can only see their leader. You have to look them up by ID. Most of us use this forum to do trading!
(memphiskite) Yeah, only way to find out is to just ask what cards people have and hope they'll tell you. My unit cap is at 50 while I see people of the same level with 182 units. Can someone here teach me how to increase the unit cap?- Spoiler:
(Gunzlinger) You have to level the unit cap dill with ally points and luna.
(chaosbladeuk) Look under the skill tabs. There is a unit increase skill that allows you to increase units provided that you have the number of different cards in your album. People do not have 182 units, the max is 75. Having 182 units likely means that is how much they have in their inbox rather than their actual unit count.
(bleachcosplay) Yes, there is a way to increase the number of units you have. If you go to the skills button, you can learn the Troop Formation skill to increase you unit capacity. However, the maximum unit capacity is 75.
What you're talking about is the total number of different monster cards in the game, which is 182. For example, Erhard is #84 out of 182. Reinhard is #121 out of 182. In addition, the game creates new monster cards with each event, so 182 is temporary.
However, if you reach your unit capacity, then every new card you receive after that will go to your inbox. And I think the inbox can hold 1000 items or something (not completely sure). So technically, you can have more than your unit capacity, however, you can't use/enhance/sell a card when it is in your inbox. How come some of the cards are pink and only show "HP" and the letters for their other stats?- Spoiler:
(aszutai) Those are monster cards, units are used for attacking, and monsters are used for defense. Though defense is pretty useless in this game, since luna and treasure (things player can steal through PvP) is only meaningful during early stage of the game. What does the "cost" attribute for a card meant? Eg. Oktavia has a cost of 30.- Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) Cost shows up in a few ways
1. Quests - You start off with a number of unit points. You can only deploy on that quest as many units that add up to less than the deploy cost and less than the total number of units allowed. This number slowly regenerates slowly.
2. PvP Battles - Same as quests
3. Collosium (Arena) Events - You make a team out of your units that can at most have 5 units and total deploy cost us 100 or less. This is the most significant use of deploy cost IMO.
Does anyone know what is the difference between the different tiers of Area Attacks? I just noticed mary has an attack of 10k at level 40 but I am not doing 10k damage to everything hit by her attack. Does the damage taper down as you get further away from the center of the attack? - Spoiler:
(Tashego) It's probably due to the fact that the monsters hit might have been different types. Mary has her strongest stat in air attack so maybe it did 10k to an air monster and tapered down to a sea/ground monster? Also remember to take in the monster's defense because Mary is magic. I don't know about the attack losing power over distance so I may be wrong. Generally, is the deploy cost an information that tells the power of cards with the same number of stars? Ex. Lucy < Harvine? in this way I can say that Avril(25) is less good than Gleb(30), right? Aren't 30 too much for Helmut?- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) Most times the 'deploy cost' you mentioned is reflective of how high the unit's stats can reach. The higher the number, the stronger the unit is considered to be. However, there are a few units out there whose stats shine way over than the normal yet hold a low deploy cost. Deploy cost isn't affected by star rank though. The deploy cost can be quite random for certain units and sometimes don't reflect with the stats either. Since we're not hackers or game devs, best to go with what is given and search for the units you prefer, according to those base/max stats.
(predator852) Let me explain deploy costs in more depth. Whenever you star a quest, you have a certain number of deploy points. I.E. 60. So if you have 30 cost units, you will only be able to put them down at first. If you have 4 15 cost units, you can put all of them down. DC regenerates overtime during the quest. So the lower the DC, the more units you can place faster. Because of this, a general trend is that higher DC+higher stats, to warrant such a DC, but this is not always the case. So Avril might be better than Gleb, or she might not. You have to look at max stats. Just wonder a bit about the unit speed at all. I thought a... S = 0 A = 1 B = 2 C = 3 D = 4 E = 5 …would be some kind of fixed number. But if I put Kyo as my leader, she’ll switch to speed A. All my other units (Henry, Mary, Anne) don't change at all. So this means something like Kyo got a 2.00 and is able with speed boost 20% drop below 2.00 and switch to 1.90, which means a A. Other units got ... let's say 3.90 and just drop to 3.12 at least u don't see any change in the letter? Someone know something about? It confuses me a bit.- Spoiler:
(larrydust) The speed ratings (S,A,B,C,D,E) are a range of speeds. So if you place 2 units in the same spot and with the same speed ratings, they may not attack at the same speeds.
Two units may both be rated C, for example Werewolf and Keith, but Werewolf is a "high" C rating and Keith is "middle" or "low" C speed. This can be seen when you have leveled the "Speed Demon" skill. When Werewolf is placed in the lead position, Speed Demon kicks in, and Werewolf's displayed speed raises to B. If the same is done to Keith, he remains as C speed (although a faster C than he was before).
Your assessment is mostly correct, with the change that the speed rating that is displayed is not a fixed number, but a number within a fixed range. I have a monster card called Kappa. I have never seen this monster. I finished the story quests so it's strange... Where is it?- Spoiler:
(predator852) Kappas are a new monster we just got like early December. I think they’re kinda cute but they still suck as monsters... I was wondering since units have D speed but some are faster than others and closer to C or closer to E. Is this the same for monsters? Never really checked it out before but for movement speed, is there a hidden number behind the grade or are they all the same?- Spoiler:
(larrydust) Monster movement speed is the same for all monsters with the same rating. All D speed monsters move at the same rate, all C speed at the same rate, etc. Why are the stats shown on the card and the stats shown when deployed different?- Spoiler:
(ChibiLeen) It's your Player Skills kicking in. Master of Land, Ruler of Air, & Parter of Sea increase ground, air and sea stats respectively. Also, Bringer of Victory further boosts all three stats. And finally, if you deploy a unit with Attack Boost, it will increase the stats of units affected by it (female units if Claudio, male units if 4* Alex or Benedetta). What do Monster cards do? How do you use them?- Spoiler:
(ChibiLeen) They serve as defense against other players. Keep them in your unit list, and whenever a player attacks you, they will face your monsters. Monsters can't be levelled up through quests like units; you will need to enhance them with other cards to level them up. There is a thread here on how to set up a good defense, check it out.
Also, some monsters are recruitable: they can be turned into units during recruiting events. One such event is coming up very soon, check the Current Events thread for information. Would Ignat be a good 5* to get or does his lack of a skill hurt even though his land attack is high?- Spoiler:
(ChibiLeen) As a general rule, 5* units that don't have a skill compensate with better stats. Ignat is a good example of this, so are Rose, Sheryl, Sofia and Bernhard, for example. The only occasion on which skill-less units are at a disadvantage is in Arena events, where lack of skills can (and usually does) make the difference between victory and defeat. What is the best method to level a unit up? My leader is Level 62, but leveling is becoming pretty slow for me. Feeders are too expensive (for me), and quest 2-7 is a little slow. Is there any method that can be used in contrary to these methods, or are questing and feeding my only methods?- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) You got feeding, quests and events. I usually quest my units to level 20, feed them to level 90, then just let them exp it out in events... unless I need to unload it then I’ll feed it the rest the way... but yea after level 20, I cant stand farming exp for a unit
(themadmanazn) Not much better options unless you have a ton of 1* and 2* units to feed them. I usually quest most of my units. I only turn to feeders if I need a unit to level very quickly (like immediately) for an event or something. Questing generally takes 3-4 days to get to 80 or another day or two to get to 100. As I don't have any 6* units, I have no idea how long it would take me to level a unit to 120.
Events give good exp, but most of the time I use maxed units in events to do well. What are the 'Goddess' units about? I've seen them in the JP wiki but judging from the required DC, they are IMPOSSIBLE to deploy.- Spoiler:
(aszutai) Goddess units are feeders, if you feed them to the same unit type they increase that unit's lvl by 3 lvls regardless of their current lvl as long as their lvl isn't maxed yet. If the unit type doesn't match, they'll just increase the unit lvl by 1 instead. And no, Goddess can't be deployed, use in event or enhanced. Hmmm, I have a question regarding Chris. It has been long established through Word of God - i.e. the Japanese wiki - that Chris is a girl. I just checked the back of the card, and this is the English text: "By infusing his consciousness into the trees themselves, he watches over the wood for signs of intruders. Walking calmly forward he takes aim at a mounted knight." We seem to have a gender-confused card here. Can anyone read Japanese? What does the Japanese text say?- Spoiler:
(aszutai) The flavor text in the Japanese card didn't mention anything that would hint at her gender. I say her because under the unit sex section of the wiki, it clearly said "Female" in kanji. A sure way to tell is to deploy Chris along with Alex and see if she/he gets the Atk Boost.
(Callanthe) Chris doesn't get Alex's boost. Um... translation error?
(aszutai) Most likely, the translator is probably just as confused about her gender as we are. Edit: Deployed her with Claudio, she gets the atk boost, so yea, Chris is a female unit. So I was looking at the Japanese wiki, when I saw that a lot of cards have 'Over Level Limit' stats. Is there a mechanism for overleveling?- Spoiler:
(Callanthe) Goddess Fruit is an item given in a future Mina's Trials quests. It increases a unit's max level by 20 (effectively raising it 1 star level).
(clocksprocket) Actually, and people should correct me if I'm wrong, I remember someone looked into it once and it actually takes more than one Goddess Fruit to raise to the max depending on the level. So a 6* going from 120 to 140 might actually require 5 goddess fruits, or something like that.
(wilyone) Somewhere in the thread on the Goddess Fruit, there was a translation on the number of fruit needed to add 20 levels to a unit. The number of fruits varied by its Star Rarity. I seem to recall 6* needed 10 fruits, 5* needed 7 fruits, 4* needed 5 fruits. I think I've read the answer to this somewhere but can't seem to find it. If I were to level a fresh 4* card doing 2-7 every minute, approximately how long would it take to max it?- Spoiler:
(Callanthe) According to my calculations from the Card Enhancing calculator, maxing a 4* takes 191,600 exp.
This means that if one was to grind 2-7 every minute, it would take around 624 minutes, or 10.4 hours of straight grinding. Assuming you have the timing of a robot and don't get the cooldown glitch. How does Area Atk (x) work? At first I thought the AoE would be bigger, but its still the same so I'm guessing the splash damage is increased? If so, how is it calculated?- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) Under my assumption, I don't think there's any increase in the damage output it does other than how strong your Area Atk unit is. Its ability is mostly used to attack multiple enemies at once during quests, unlike most other units who can only attack one unit at a time.
In the arena events, it does increase the damage output when the ability is activated by a considerable amount.
The skill is useless against bosses. I've just noticed that Zande's Speed changes from "B" to "A" upon making him leader, and then deploying him. Is my game glitching out, or is his speed actually B? I don't know why there's no place that tells me this information...- Spoiler:
(DeathGU1Se) Zande is one of the few units that can take advantage of the Speed Demon skill. Another example would be Kiki changing from D to C if made leader.
(Ghost_Star) Speed Demon effect all units exactly the same. All units benefit from a 20% increase in speed while leader (if skill is maxed). It is just some units are not moved into a new speed rating. This of B speed rating as a range of numbers, say .8 to 1.4 attacks per second so a 20% increase to a unit attacking at 1.1 seconds would not move into an 'A' rating.
It should be noted that 'speed ratings' are not the end all indicator of attack speed and just because you see the letter change on one unit the effect is better for that unit. Check out the 6* DPS thread to see some good numbers on attack speed. The speed letter rating is very misleading, except for maybe in arenas.
Also consider that 20% speed increase on a slow unit is going to be a bigger speed jump than a 20% increase to a fast unit... 20% of 2.0 > 20% 1.0...
Work-in-progress list of units can be found here: Speed Up Rank I managed to get a Epona Goddess of Wealth card in the last event but it doesn't seem to be good for anything? Am I missing some special use for it?- Spoiler:
(chaosme) It's for selling for 100k luna. You can also trade it in for 300LP at Leana's shop, which is good for pulling one random grab bag. The recommended use is probably to trade it for LP at Leana's shop.
(supremeJD) Yeah, go ahead and trade it in for LP. It's definitely not worth the Luna, imo.
(xmach) I actually sold it for the 100k because it then satisifed your requirements for the Skill to increase revenue from sold units since I'd rather use low cards for feeding. And leana almost always gives me ally points or luna anyway, neither of which is in short supply. If you use Epona as a feeder, does it give 1 level? Or just the EXP of a 4* Lv.1?- Spoiler:
(Ilyere) Epona is not intended to be used as a feeder, you just sell her for 100k Luna. I think if you tried to feed her she would give 1EXP.

| 10. Obtaining Units & MonstersAny questions relating to how to obtain unit & monster cards themselves (not involving specific information about them) can be found here. There are also lots of questions & answers around the forum as well, so good luck trying to find any sort of information you’re looking for. There will be no questions/answers here relating to which unit/s are the best to have, as that is an opinionated discussion among various players. As for how much a card is worth, please ask in the Trading Centre sub-forum.Is there a way to get a 3* or higher without paying actual money for it?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) It's possible to get a 4* from a free premium ticket. And you can trade luna, items & cards, so it's quite possible to get one that way. It just takes a bit longer than paying money and getting cards in a box. Events give out prizes as well - for example, the Demon Tower event had a 4* reward for completing a certain number of stages. How do I start selling 4* cards and obtain a 5*? Getting a 5* seems really expensive.- Spoiler:
(HoundR) You can offer them on the RCR, Top Ranking players' walls, or advertising on your allies' walls. Of course, some may like that and even help you, others may ask you to not spam their walls. Another option is to start your shop thread on the Trading Center, but please read the rules before doing that. I want a Harpy monster. Where/how do I obtain one?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) It can be obtained with a very, very, very slim rare chance of getting it from a brave pack or from a box. Otherwise you can look around the Trading Center sub-forum and see if anyone is trading/selling one. Just curious to get my hands on a couple of those cards (because one of them looks super hot in that uniform), but I want to know how much people are selling them for, but only by luna price. Pretty much, I'm only curious about Heidemarie, Franziska & Cecilia...- Spoiler:
(struesdell) – Sept 16 2012 Heidimarie: Easily 30 million Luna. Franziska: Probably 15-16 million Luna. Cecilia: People don't usually sell 6* cards for Luna. A trade is going to cost you multiple maxed 5* cards, so an equivalent value of over a hundred million Luna seems about right.
(clocksprocket) – Sept 16 2012 - Just keep in mind that prices can fluctuate as cards come out & stuff. But it's fair to say that 5*s will cost a pretty penny either way, and their prices aren't deflating any time soon. Why does no one want Thrain?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) He's a melee unit without an air attack, and that's all he's good at. He doesn't have a skill either. When it comes to usefulness of 5*s, he's really low on the list. Is there any use for Brave points other than drawing the card? I am piling up 40K brave point and would like to use it somehow.- Spoiler:
(po1102) No, just free feeders.
(Qaras) Brave Points are only used for common card pack singles. They have no other use. All these 6 Star cards for becoming first place in Events. I understand that they are rewarded for excessive playing, but what about the other cards? Will they eventually be available in premium packs or are they just unique, only available for a set time and that is it? E.g Dark Elves; will I be able to get any more in the future or am I stuck with Liselotte?- Spoiler:
(Sientara) - On the Japanese wiki, there is a Reprint card pack with previous limited editions / event rewards in it, minus the 3*. It contains the Witch, Military, Dark Elf, Demon's Tower, Venus Coliseum, Dragonspawn and The Key of Goetia Series.
(brokenchicken) At some point, it is likely that events will be re-run and their corresponding card sets will be once again available. However, no one can say for sure when or where.
There was a premium card set on the Japanese side roughly translating to "Premium Reprint", which appears to have cards from seven different premium sets in it (Demon's Tower, Dark Elves, Black Dragon Castle, Venus Colosseum, Armed Forces, Witches, and unreleased-here-yet Key of Goetia): http://tinyurl.com/cpmu3eb
So if you have an extreme longing for one of those cards and don't want to buy them from other players, watch out for this card set in the future and have your wallet handy. Why is it so hard to find a trade? People either sell for ridiculous price or offer low as ****... Like it’s not even fair anymore... The price on 4* max drop from 20 to 14 now and no one even want to buy. They want to sell.- Spoiler:
(aszutai) – Nov 29 2012 The large drop in max 4*s TE value aside, doesn't people always make ridiculous offer and sales? As for trades, yea it feels like there's less trading going on to me as well. Really haven't made that many trades recently, then again I wasn't trying to trade for anything.
Semi-related to the topic but I think I sold/bought/traded at least 3 different Tullias in the past two weeks lol. I would sell one and then someone else would offer her again in another trade, not that I mind. If I make a mermaid unit from a monster, can I combine rings again to make another mermaid?- Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) Nope, I would have more than 500 of them if they kept giving. I have 10,000 Brave Points at the moment, reason for this is because I have not seen any need to use them, as all I gotten is 2* cards at max. Is there any point of the game where I can get at least 3* cards, or is the only way with Fanta points?- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) The chances of getting a 3* from brave points is considered very low, but it isn't impossible. I don't know what the odds are, but I'm sure someone had some idea of it. The new training missions on 24 and upwards are now offering 3* monsters as findings so there's an opportunity you can bank on now. In "Normal" card packs, my friend told me that he found Percival. Is it possible? Are there some %? E.g 80% for 1*, 19% for 2*, 1% for 3*?- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) If you're talking about brave card packs, yes it is possible to draw 3* units from them but it is considered a rare chance draw. I was lucky enough to draw 2 3* from it once one after the other, but I doubt my luck actually affected that.... When using the premium tickets, is there a possibility to find 1* and 6* cards with them?- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) No, you can feel glad that you won't draw a 1* from premium tickets, but there's still the chance to get 2*s & 3*s from them. Getting a 6* from premium tickets is considered legendarily rare, and there are rumours saying 5*s are possible but I would consider it a rare chance as well. They have released 4* Plus tickets which is considered to increase your chances of getting 4*s, 5*s, & 6*s and hopefully more of those will be released through the events. I notice that much more are the opened brave card packs in a series, much more are the possibilities to find higher stars. Is this correct? (You also told me that you find two 3* one after the other) Is there a formula about this?- Spoiler:
(predator852) Brave card packs only cost brave points, statistically more are opened, raising the amount of 3* cards you get. And because there are no 4/5/6* cards you have a higher chance of getting a 3*...
(memphiskite) The highest will always be 3* through the brave packs. If you want something better without trading among players or grinding through the events for those free 4* units / 5* monsters, you'll have to pay for those premium packs with your credit card (or your itunes card if you're on an iphone/ipad/itouch). At the moment, there is little discussion about what the formula is in drawing a specific card from the packs, but you can search for some of that information in the Game Discussion sub-forum. Which cards are only obtainable through Tweet rewards? I know that Julieta, Mona, and Fiona are Referral rewards, but I want to know all the ones that are only awarded by tweeting.- Spoiler:
(Tashego) Avril, then it just gives you premium tickets. Has the Sea Serpent Card been released? Is it some kind of LE card?- Spoiler:
(Callanthe) The sea serpent card was released at least a month ago. It is a 3* sea monster, found in standard packs. I've just taken a look at the Japanese version of the Fantasica wkik, and I'm amazed by a lot of cards that I'd like to have. Are all these cards already in our game and if not, will they ever be shipped to our game?- Spoiler:
(ChibiLeen) There are a lot of cards that aren't available for us yet, mainly because we haven't had the corresponding events at this time.
You can check out this thread for a list of cards, with corresponding events/series, maximum stats, etc. at List to Fantasica's Units/Monsters Spreadsheet (with images)
Among other information, that spreadsheet indicates which cards have been released. I have gone fishing through the forums and cant really find a place where you can see which monster are recruitable and how to get them. For example, the Werewolf Unit. Do these monster cards come from packs or event rewards. Also, do the recruitable monsters only become available during that event?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) The unit list might be helpful for looking at units from past events.
Werewolf was a rank reward in the It Came from Halloween! event, and people could turn it into a unit in the next recruiting event with soulstones. I don't believe it will be available again, and this is typically the case for other 5* recruitable monsters. A summary of how recruitment works can be found here. You can recruit any recruitable monsters in any recruitment event, after they've been released.

| Subject: Recruiting Monsters to Units Thu Jan 10, 2013 9:30 pm | |
| 11. Recruiting Monsters to UnitsSome questions relating to how to recruit specific monsters into units can be found here. If you wish to know the formula on a successful recruiting, please check out any of the Recruitment topics found in the Current Events & Current Events (Public) sub-forums. There are various successful & unsuccessful stories in there, so one answer cannot be considered the definite answer.Saw the term "sss" a few times on the trade forum, but what does it stand for?- Spoiler:
(Stoire) That was from the reincarnation event - Soul Stone (small). SSLs were the large Soul Stones. Why is the harpy so sought after? Is it reincarnate-able? I got one from a brave pack draw and don't know if I should sell it or keep it for now.- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) You can indeed recruit it, but it's a 3* so I'm not sure it's worth that much. So, from what I've read, the Mermaid is usable. I have the monster version, but my question is 'how do I get the usable one?'- Spoiler:
(RedRivers) Mermaid was recruitable during an event only. It would turn monster into ally. I hear it will be possible again in the future but is not possible right now. I read somewhere it increases the chance of success with a monster card of a soul stone working if their level is higher. Is this true? Also when will the soul stone event be?- Spoiler:
(brokenchicken) Leveling a monster does raise its chances of success slightly, or to phrase it differently, it takes fewer stones to reach the same chance. It's a visible difference but minor enough that I wouldn't go crazy with leveling, since those levels will be wiped away upon reincarnation. What happens when you fail to recruit a monster as a unit card? Do you lose the monster card as well, or just the Soul Stones...?- Spoiler:
(ElysianField) I also tried this, I was in the event the last day but you only lose the luna you have to pay to do that and you lose the used items. Do the levels transfer to the unit or does it reset to lvl 1 upon recruitment?- Spoiler:
(ChibiLeen) Upon recruitment, the monster's level is reset to 1.
(themadmanazn) Yes, they will start over at 1 as a unit. I finally have a couple 4* (and probably a 5* after this event) to recruit. What's the most effective way to recruit 4*, 5*, 6* and how many small and/or large Soul Stones does it take to get the best chance for each?- Spoiler:
(KuroStar) Perhaps you should level the monsters during panel events as the 7th or 8th panel gives a boost in enhance exp. Plus, it takes lesser SSS/SSL to recruit them when they are leveled. I would suggest maxing 6* monsters because recruiting takes a lot of TE by buying SSL.
There is a formula for 5* recruitment and for 4*, it takes around ... maybe 50 SSS to recruit a Lv 1.
(The Power5) It takes 120 SSS to almost ensure that a fresh 4* monster is recruited. A 5* monster has this formula: ((4 * SSL + 0.1 * SSS) * (1 + LEVEL/300))

| Subject: Premium Packs & Mega Boxes Thu Jan 10, 2013 9:30 pm | |
| 12. Premium Packs & Mega BoxesAny questions relating about obtaining cards from the premium packs, mega boxes and series boxes in the Card Shop can be found here.Is there any way to get Fanta Points aside from the cash shop? Or do I have to shell out real money to get those cards?- Spoiler:
(Qaras) MobaCoins/Fanta Coins cannot be earned in-game, only bought by credit card. I was wondering what is the difference between the card pack and the series pack. Series pack gets 7 cards but does that get you all the new units or all 7 units are random? Does anyone know the difference?- Spoiler:
(brokenchicken) The normal Card Packs/Boxes give you random cards (2*-6*) from the 'normal' population. The Series pack gives you random cards from the Samurai Princess set. You might get some of the higher ones, or you might get all 3* and 4*.
(Elysian-Field) It’s random cards. It IS possible that you end up with 7 3*'s but the same chance is there with the normal pack.
(the3ptsling) Odds are pretty good if you go with the 7 card pack, by the way. (1500 mobage coin box) I am really hesitant on spending money for a box, but does anyone have any clue to the pulls you get? Like the amount of 2*, 3*, 4*, 5*, 6*? Or is it completely random?- Spoiler:
(jdelmundo) It varies.
These are the statistics gathered from premium gachas. Though it's not the same as the old deck, it helps illustrate the odds you're against. You can pull 2* from the old deck. On average, you will probably have to buy 3 boxes to get a decent chance at a 5* or 6* card. Some people can be very lucky, some not.
3* 64.02% 4* 34.4% 5* 1.38% 6* 0.2% If I spend the $30 on the princess pack <big one> what are the odds of me pulling a 5* or better?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) No one knows the exact odds. Some people believe your odds are better (since it chooses from 1 3*, 2 4*, 3 5*, and 1 6*) but that depends on how Fantasica generates its rare cards. For all we know, it's a flat rate (say 2% 5* chance, 1% 6* chance, or something) as opposed to being weighted due to how many cards there are. Is there any authoritative data on what can be drawn from what different packs?- Spoiler:
(brokenchicken) "Plain" Brave packs: 1* likely 2* rarely 3* once in a blue moon
Premium Tickets (the reward kind): 2* likely 3* likely 4* rarely 5* reported a handful of times by reputable sources, but very very rare 6* possible, according to legend, but like finding a blue unicorn in your bathroom playing a tuba
Premium Boxes (the expensive kind): 2* likely 3* likely 4* pretty likely 5* sometimes 6* very rarely
Event Boxes (the limited edition sets): 3* likely 4* likely 5* sometimes 6* very rarely
Premium Boxes (if you're clocksprocket): 2* likely 3* likely 4* sometimes 5* and 6*: The aforementioned unicorn is more likely. Obviously I see the regular one (now) that all like 1500 fanta points and what not... and then I see a pack that's 100 fanta points? Not the one used for premium tickets, it's the one just below the one that uses brave points.... So what I’m wondering is if this pack normally gives you really good cards (and by really good I mean 5* or possibly 6* as this is coming from someone whose best card is only a 4*)- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) Buying that 100pts pack will only give you one card, from my experience. And from that same experience I was only able to score a 4* I got ages ago.... I have heard some others have gotten something way better than my draw for it so it's practically another luck of the draw game there. Also, once you purchase the 100pts pack, it will not show up again, so they'll force you to buy the other more expensive boxes instead. So far, I've gotten 3 4*+ tickets and all of them yielded measly 4*s. Has anyone gotten at least a 4* monster from those tickets?- Spoiler:
(ChibiLeen) I believe someone reported in the 4*+ thread that he/she had pulled a Doro from one of those tickets. So it's not impossible to get something better than a 4* unit. It's just very, very, very unlikely. Are those premium packs you can purchase worth the money and if so which one and why?- Spoiler:
(HoundR) They may or may not be worth it, but that's not up to you. Since they're luck-based, you never know when you'll get a box full of 2*s,3*s, and 4*s, or when you'll get a 5*, a 6*, or even multiple of those in one box. Their value increases during events, because they usually include event-related items or TEs. IMO, Megaboxes are the best because they give the most cards and items, but many people have more luck with the cheaper packs. Generally, what would be in a Mega Box? I'm planning on buying one for an event that I'm interested in, so is it guaranteed that a 6* will be one of those cards?- Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) A Mega Box has a weighted random distribution of 14 cards from 2* to 6*.
The chances to get a 6* card is about one in 20 boxes. The chances to get a 5* card is about 1 in 5 boxes. Note, it is possible to get multiple 5* or 6* cards in a box.
I would generally only buy a mega box for an event where it either gives event units or gives tickets/tokens to benefit you during the event.
(ChibiLeen) A bit of clarification is in order: what po meant by "bonus units" from those events applies only to the new units that were released into the regular packs during those events. In order to motivate people to buy more packs at that time, these new units gave various bonuses if you used them in their event, but simply became regular units afterwards. These are the regular units:
"Crime Fighters" (regular units released during Den of Sin): 4* Antony & Frank, 5* Diane & Eleanor, 6* Dana
"Soul Hunters" (regular units released during Soul Hunters): 3* Tom, 5* Patricia, 6* Paris
The other units that you cited were prizes awarded during their respective events, and are thus Limited Edition cards. The ones I just listed are available in regular packs, but their price is still just a tad higher than it should be, because since they're newer, there's less of then in circulation at the moment. How much would it cost to do all the steps in the Step Up Packs?- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) #1) 100 = $1.00 #2) 300 = $3.00 #3) 500 = $5.00 #4) 1000 = $10.00 #5) 2000 = $20.00 #6) 3000 = $30.00 #7) 5000 = $50.00
Total to buy up to and get step 7) $119.00 *There is a slight difference between Google Play and Apple Store and buying bulk coins may save a few $$$ If there is an event where you get some card for a limited time from the card, like the Dreambreakers, they come from the package that you have to buy, or step up packs. When that event is over, you can never get them again from the packs. Is that right? So my question is, can you also get those limited time card from the premium and 4*+ tickets. If so, I'm planning to save them for an event, otherwise I'm just going to use them.- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) In regards to what you said about the event packs only obtainable during a limited time in a specific event, that is correct.
Unfortunately, your premium tickets and 4* plus tickets are only limited to obtaining the units available in the regular packs (the ones sold for 300 for 1, 1500 for 6, & 3000 for 14). They cannot be used to obtain the 'The Messengers of Heaven' series units you're interested in or any other limited edition units available during certain events.
Luckily, more units are getting added to the regular packs recently so there's no harm in holding back on their uses in the hopes to get those regular new units with your tickets, like Rain the Knight in the 3rd Battle Arena or Destroyer Bajardo in the 2nd Battle Arena.
(Ghost_Star) If that series gets added to our normal cards, it would be possible to draw them after the event with 4*/premium tickets.

| Subject: Enhancing Thu Jan 10, 2013 9:30 pm | |
| 13. EnhancingAny questions relating to enhancing your cards can be found here. However, there is a lot of information to be found if you check out the Everything anyone would ever need to know about card enhancement thread in the Game Discussion sub-forum.What are feeder cards? Are they just 2/3* cards you don't use?- Spoiler:
(deedlit228) Cards that you use to enhance other cards to level them up. Since most people have more lower star cards than they know what to do with, they "feed" them into higher star cards. As far as I know, people usually only use 1* - 3*s for feeders, but I've heard of some using 4*s as well depending on the amount of 4* surplus they have.
(Ghost_Star) Feeders are any card you/the buyer intends to use in enhancing to level up another card. These are usually fresh but some people like buying leveled feeders because you can basically buy more at once. Leveled feeders are typically 2/3*. If someone is asking for a leveled feeder, they usually expect level 10. 4* cards are also used as feeders but usually bought sold as such at max level. How do you guys level your feeders "fast"? Repeating 24-6 is painstakingly boring & slow. I feed my 2* with all the 1* I get from training but only up to a certain point.- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) I personally just do level 4 or 5 for my 2*s at most, which takes 1 or 2 runs through 24-6. I haven't used 3 or 4 star feeders though -- I reckon if I did, at that point I'd just buy them off someone. E.g. or three 1*s to enhance a 2* to level 4, more for level 5 Is it possible to over-enhance a card (E.g. say you only need 12 2* to get to max, but not knowing that precise amount, you accidentally feed it 15)? I'm getting pretty close to maxing my Mermaid, and wanted to make sure I don't use up more resources than necessary (both cards and the Luna-cost of enhancing).- Spoiler:
(Dewmzdeigh) Nope. Once you hit max, anything else used is waste. Hey, I've seen people saying that it takes six 1* cards to get a level 6 2* card (to use for enhancing). But for me, it takes 7 1* cards. Is that because of the Blessing of the Valkyrie Skill?- Spoiler:
(po1102) It depends on both the enhanced card and the feeders I think. For example, to enhance a Scorpion to Level 6 takes me 7 Lan or Emily but only 6 for Ada. And not every 2* can get to Level 6 with just 6 Ada feeders. I wonder also take with Enhance? Also wanted to know how to remove Enhance- Spoiler:
(Harada) You can't get the units you sacrificed in Enhance. For example, if I have a level 3 unit and I used it as a feeder for another unit, does the EXP in the level 3 unit transfer unto my other unit? If so, how much of the EXP from my level 3 unit will be transferred over to my new unit. Also does the rarity of the card increase the EXP gain when used for feeding? And lastly, is it advisable or recommended to level your feeders before using them as feeders? If so what level should I get them to before used for feeding?- Spoiler:
(Kadaan) The rarity and level do play a part in how much exp you get from enhancing. I'm not sure about the exact %, but I think you get a pretty large percent. The two main strategies I've read are farming 10-4 and feeding 3x 1* units to the 2* bears, then feeding a full inventory of level 4 bears to a low level unit. The other strategy is to simply feed all your 1* and 2* feeders to a single 2*, then feed that one card to a higher level unit. The luna cost goes up with the level of the card you're enhancing, so the second method saves you a lot of luna. I've been noticing that it is taking more cards to enhance a 2* to lvl10 than before the most recent maintenance. Also getting less EXP. Is it just me? (Dec 28 2012)- Spoiler:
(predator852) - Dec 28 2012 In the recent Christmas event, we unlocked a server wide panel that boosted enhancing by 50%, not that the event is over, the boost goes away and everything returns to normal. Does a level 4 2* give more experience than a level 1 2*?- Spoiler:
(Callanthe) Yes, it does. By feeding 1* into 2* then feeding the 2* into the desired card, you do save quite a bit of luna.

| Subject: Trading Thu Jan 10, 2013 9:31 pm | |
| 14. TradingAny questions relating to how trading works can be found here. And no, you will not find any information how much a card is worth or what the better deal between Deal A and Deal B is. The Trading Center sub-forum is the place to go for that.I sent a trade to someone and it said this person was trying to trade more than 5 items, but they weren't online. What does this mean exactly and how?- Spoiler:
(pnoytroi) It means that the person has reached their maximum allowed 5 active trades. The user has to clear those before he or she is able to send/accept trades. This was probably asked a million times, or maybe I’m just clueless, but how do I finish a trade? We both presented the things we want to trade but my only options are to view the details of the card, go to the person's profile, and toggle between each person's card and back.- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) Trades work like this: Player A offers Player B responds Player A accepts If you are player B and you just responded to A's offer, you now have to wait until they accept. If they do not respond within 48 hours of the original offer, the trade will be automatically cancelled.
(aszutai) Forgot to mention this, any item you include in your trade are removed from your inventory and placed in a trade hold. You won't be able to cancel your offer so unless the other player cancels the trade for you, you'll have to either wait 48 hours or until they make their offer to you (and then cancel) to get your offered item/units back. It's basically what's called a "trade lock". Hi, I’m a newbie, just wondering how I can start trading. Currently when I try to send a trade to someone it just keeps saying "this trade does not meet the necessary requirements"... Can someone tell me what the requirement are please?- Spoiler:
(Brokenluckx3) You have to be at least level 31 to trade. You must register your device. You can only 5 trades at once. You can’t have 5 open trades with the same person. You have 48 hrs to trade or it will be cancelled.
(ChibiLeen) Both you and your friend need to be player level 31 in order to be able to trade. You mainly increase your player level through training, although winning battles against other players also gives player experience.
(chaosbladeuk) I can only think of two reasons. One they are not the right level to trade. They must be at level 30. The second could be that your device or the person you're trading with isn't registered. This is only speculation as I thought that with the device registration you weren't allowed to receive anything from your inbox, maybe I was wrong.
(kotobaasobid) He has to be lvl 31. That is the minimum requirement to trade. If someone sends you a trade, but leaves no ID, is there no way to contact them except to wait until they respond right?- Spoiler:
(Sientara) If you go into the Details of the trade, you can go to their profile that way. When I open a trade window, it only allows me to select 5 items from my own inventory, cards or items. How do I add items from the person I want to trade with? How is it a 'trade' if the system is a 'gift'? And yes both parties are over level 30.- Spoiler:
(ChibiLeen) Here's how the trading system works:
- Player A selects the items that will be traded and initiates trade with Player B. - Player B replies to trade with items from her/his own inventory. - Player A then receives Player B's offer, and completes trade. - IMPORTANT NOTES: until Player A completes the trade, no items change hands. However, all items engaged into the trading process are "locked" and their respective owners can't access them unless one of the players cancels the trade. If one of the players cancels, the locked items are returned to the inbox of their respective owners. So I went to trade my soul stones but they didn’t show up in my items list. Is there a certain way you’re supposed to sell them?- Spoiler:
(Callanthe) You can only trade soul stones during recruitment events. When people are buying feeders, do they expect a maxed 1/2/3*? Or something like lv5 or lv10?- Spoiler:
(ChibiLeen) Unless you specify that your feeders are levelled, people will assume they're fresh. Of course, levelled or maxed feeders sell for more, but it takes a lot of effort for not much revenue. If you have any 4*'s you're not going to use, max those and either sell them for TE or trade them for a 5*.
What you should do is farm 26-5 instead. If you haven't unlocked it yet, do it as soon as possible. 26-5 gives a lot of 2* Yakov's, and has a good drop rate of 3* Catoblepas. Also, it gives you 1* melee cards which are great to feed to Yakov and/or Catoblepas to make higher level feeders. Now that we have training levels that drop 3* monsters, the value of generic 3* cards has dropped, and you definitely should use them as feeders, it's not a waste at all.
(Ghost_Star) Usually 2/3* sell at level 1, however lots are sold 'leveled' which usually means level 10. When people want or sell leveled 2*/3*, they usually say so. I often see people saying like "60k a Set" etc. which I assume that is a certain amount of feeders. How many feeders is that? The prices in the various posts for 3* seem to vary A LOT... so I assume there's something I must be missing.- Spoiler:
(aszutai) A set is five since you're limited to 5 units per trade, unless you're trading TE or other stackables. Why do some high levelled players still take maxed 4*s? - Spoiler:
(bleachcosplay) People collect 4* maxed for feeding. Could someone make a cheat sheet for abbreviations used for in-game selling, please?- Spoiler:
(ChibiLeen) You can check out lmnseason's guide called Walkthrough Free Player thread in the Fantasica Encyclopedia section. There's a summary of the most used terms and abbreviations.
Also included, a link to Fantasica lingo and Forum terminology When people trade 6* for several maxed 5*'s, what do they do with them? Will they be used as feeders?- Spoiler:
(HoundR) Mmm, there's a few things that could explain that:
1. They wanted to help someone trade up, that's why they accepted 5*s for a 6* 2. The 5*s in the trade are rare or easy to sell, at least easier than the 6* 3. The 5*s in the trade are cards the 6* owner wanted 4. Indeed, they're crazy and will use those 5*s as feeders I keep seeing "set" used when talking about selling items. How many cards is a set in this game?- Spoiler:
(BraveDemon) Set = 5 cards, the maximum set of cards you can trade at once.
(Ghost_Star) A set is 5 units which is the most you can trade at a time. So, I'm not worried and I'm sure it has happened before, but I had a trade in progress when maintenance started. What happens in this situation?- Spoiler:
(Esofonic) Your trade will be cancelled. You can start trading again after maintenance is finished. I made a trade with 300 potions, and never got a response so after 2 days, the trade was cancelled, but I never got back my 300 potions. I wrote to Fanta and they told me everything is up to date.- Spoiler:
(Yuan) The 300 pot should have gone to your inbox. Are they not in there?
(BkWiz) Pots and TE are automatically put into inventory after cancelling. Only if trade succeeds it goes into the inbox.
(KuroStar) It is common knowledge that it is actually automatically put in your inventory. Any reason why the 'No Trading' rule during Battle Arena events are implemented now all of a sudden? My best guess would be to maximize profits by not allowing free players to buy event units from their hard earned TE, and rather make them use money to buy packs.- Spoiler:
(lace) Maybe. It seems to be a "feature" of all the Battle Arena seasons from what I've seen poking the JP wiki. I can see other reasons for doing it that end up relating back to money (preventing people with alt accounts from passing around their good cards to maximize the prizes they get).
(pknott) Most events require your "event team" to be on duty for long amounts of time or ALL the time. In this event, there is a fast forward button that allows you to use your event team for maybe an hour to exhaust a day or two worth of tickets.
(Schdawn) The first Arena Battle in the Japanese server didn't have a trade ban. However, the top players lent their strong units to each other (since Arena entry is ticket based, they can take turn using strong cards), hogging all the event prizes to themselves.
Trade ban is then put into effect to prevent it. It doesnt seem like anyone sells cards for straight Luna, only for potions and/or elixers. What's the point in having a ton of Luna?- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) That's because there is not much to do with your Luna have you have 10 mil and all your skills maxed... Whereas TE/potions can be used to your great advantage to rank in most events.
(Kadaan) The only things that uses Luna are Enhancing and Skills. You max out your skills pretty easily and you generally get enough Luna from Training to enhance your cards.
Until they add in something else that requires Luna, it will never really be desirable as a trade currency.

| 15. Inbox & BankingIf you’re curious to know how to ‘bank’ or just forgotten how to, your answers can be found here. Information on what your inbox does can be found here too.How long do items stay in the inbox? Do they expire after a set time? How long does stuffs inbox stay for? Forever or do they disappear after a month or so?- Spoiler:
(zoebeagle) It’s forever and no. Also, there is no limit to the amount of items in your inbox.
(po1102) According to in-game FAQ, stuff in inbox never expires. Anyone know what the limit is on the Inbox?- Spoiler:
(Callanthe) The inbox is infinite. However, any items past 1000 will be hidden and not directly accessible. I keep seeing the idea of banking. What is it exactly?- Spoiler:
(profile4) Keeping money/units in your inbox so that it doesn't get stolen/keep room for enhancing, trading, or whatever. How does one "bank" their luna?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) Luna in your inbox is safe from any attackers. What you can do is have someone help you bank -- You start a trade with them with the amount of luna you would like to bank, and have them send you back the same amount. When you accept the trade, you'll both get that amount in your inbox. Alternatively, you can send a trade to a friend with the money and just have them cancel when you need your money back (it goes immediately to your vault from a cancelled trade, unlike cards which will go to your inbox) but this requires them being online when you need money, so preferably they'd be someone you can contact quickly. What's the limit of cards you can have in your inbox? I'm supposed to have more than 1,000 cards in it (a lot of feeders), but the notification keeps flashing just 1,000. Does it push out the oldest cards after the 1,000th or is the notification just set to display at 1,000 maximum? - Spoiler:
(larrydust) Although your inbox can hold more than 1000 items, only the most recent 1000 items can be displayed. If you remove items from your inbox, your additional items will start to appear.

| 16. SkillsAny questions relating to the skills that are obtainable in the game can be found here. How "Bringer of Victory” work? I mean, does the boosting effect apply on your leader or on a random unit?- Spoiler:
(po1102) It affects all of your units, and it stacks with the other 3. How can I meet the prerequisites for the skill "Bringer of Victory"?- Spoiler:
(po1102) Max all other 3 skills that increase stats. 'Partner of Sea' may take some time because there are not a lot of sea-based monsters around. Try grinding quests in episode 9 for it. Is there a way to tell how many monsters you have defeated in training? Speed Demon and Border Warrior level 9 won't seem to unlock. - Spoiler:
(Elysian-Field) Currently, there is no way to see this you will have to keep doing training and eventually it will be available. For the Battle Seasoned skill, do you need 300 wins or total battles?- Spoiler:
(bleachcosplay) To my understanding, battle seasoned only applies to PvP battles, and not event battles. And attack boosts Lv.10 means that your Master of Land, Ruler of Air, and Parter of Sea Skills have to be at level 10 before you can learn the Bringer of Victory skill.
(Ghost_Star) You need to win 300 PvP battles and all of the skill up boosts above it maxed. I do not think that tower/event PvP battles count as I have far surpassed 300 of those and that requirement is still greyed. I also have 'Bring of Victory' so you need more than just 'Master of Land, Air, and Sea’.
(Webois) I can confirm it is total battles.
(Despoted) Getting attacked doesn't increase the battle count for Battle Seasoned. You need to attack other players 300 times. I don't think it matters if you win or lose. Since I don't like attacking random people, I keep a couple inactive allies and attack them 3 times daily. Either way, it's going to take a couple weeks to get there. Why isn't the Battle Seasoned skill unlocked for me? My Battle Record stands at 300+ wins & 90+ losses, my Player Level is Lv100, all my other skills are maxed, and most of these battles started via 'Get revenge' or 'Target artifact'. Doesn't these count for something?- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) Your battle record includes times you were attacked and won, Battle Seasoned only includes times you attack... so you may need a few more. I think you also may need those other two skills maxed...
Also, there may be other requirements that you havent meet... I maxed mine all out a while ago but you may be just a little short on your deployments.
Changing your leader will not reset your counts. Why can't I learn the Battle Seasoned skill when my win battles are over 300?- Spoiler:
(vul) Wins from successful defense don't count; make sure you're level 98. Make sure poison/slow/knockback/area attack/attack boost are all maxed. Make sure you have enough Luna.
(BkWiz) The number under your profile, is not the number of battles you have started/won/lost. That win/loss ratio is the number of times YOU have been attacked and how many times your defense has succeeded or failed. So unless you actually counted how many times you have attacked 300 times, you really don't know how many times you have attacked someone until the skill unlocks.
(redjacketguy) So, in the scenario of losing one or two battles to a good defense, is our win ratio essentially give-or-take the amount of battles we have done?
(Nathanmg) Yeah I was using my win ratio as a guideline, and ended up needing pretty much 300 wins before the skill was buyable.
(Sabin76) No hidden requirement. You just have to INITIATE 300 battles. You can't go by the numbers in your profile because those include your defense wins, which don't count. The skill becomes visible at player level ~98, whether you've met the requirements or not.
(BkWiz) You only need to INITIATE 300 battles.
The win/loss ratio you see in your profile DOES NOT SHOW how many you initiated. It shows HOW MANY YOUR PERSONAL DEFENSE succeeded/failed.
(Blargod) The win/loss ratio is the summation of win/loss count from your personal defense and whether or not you succeeded/failed in penetrating into someone's defense as well.
(BkWiz) Wrong. The win/loss you see in profile is ONLY the amount of times your PERSONAL DEFENSE has succeeded or failed.
There is currently no in-game tracker for how many times you have successfully beaten someone's defense or failed. The only way you can see you have 300+ battle initiations (win or lose) is when the button lights up and you can train it or you count it one by one.
(Blargod) Pretty sure it is unless they've changed it recently. I know about the initiation of 300 battles but I'm relatively sure that successfully attacking or failing brings up/lowers that ratio as well. I tried it way back when gtmeteor went inactive. Saw my count went up.
After testing, it still does bring up your win/loss count. It just takes like 30 minutes for it to update, unlike back then, which was near instantaneous.
(vul) I usually have nothing but level 4 2*s in my defense, and there's no way that's succeeded 100+ times. The number in your profile is a summation of defenses and initiated battles. I actually recently unlocked Battle Seasoned, but I don’t have 10,000 ally points lying around. Is there only one level of that skill?- Spoiler:
(bleachcosplay) Yes, there is only one level, which is quite nice, since level 10 would probably require 50,000 ally points or something. Who knows? Just to verify, the Battle Seasoned skill states that my unit skill boosts need to be at Lv. 10. By unit skill boost, do they mean Fire Breather, Web Spinner, Titan Fist, Seal of Archangels, and Snake Eater? Or do they mean Speed Demon and Border Warrior?- Spoiler:
(predator852) I think they mean unit skill levels, like Poison 6 goes to Poison 7
(Brokenluckx3) I’ve been wondering this myself, but I think its Fire Breather, Web Spinner, Titan Fist, Seal of Archangels, and Snake Eater. I've seen people talking about the Battle Seasoned skill. I don't see it on my skill list at all. Is this something that will appear later? I'm only level 76 and I really haven't leveled the Knockback, Poison etc. skills...- Spoiler:
(larrydust) The "Battle Seasoned" skill does not appear in your skills list until you hit level 98. It is hidden until then. I've been looking at the Japanese wiki and I found that the 'Phantom Library' (rough translation) event has some cards with 2 skills. The rank 6* card has Knockback Lv.4 & Attack Boost (Male) Lv.2. How does Battle Seasoned affect this card? Do both skills go up one level, both skills go half a level, or one of the two go up a level?- Spoiler:
(Schdawn) Only the topmost skill written on the card get a boost from Battle Seasoned, so in the case of that 6*, she'll have Knockback 5 + Atk Boost 2 Do skills (eg. Master of Land, Speed Demon, etc.) apply to my leader unit for when my allies use my leader?- Spoiler:
(po1102) Nope, their own Master of ... skills will apply to your leader though. When your leader is used by your allies, does he benefit from your skills that are supposed to improve him?- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) Only the skills Master of Land, Ruler of Air, Parter of Sea, Snake Eater, Weaver of Webs, Titan Fist, Firebreather, & Seal of Archangels take effect when your ally deploys your leader into their combat, if your ally has them activated on their account.
Any skills that you have unlocked on your account only affect your battles and it does not carry over to other allies' battles. When someone deploys me as an ally, do they get all those skills applied to my stats or does their level of those stats get applied to my unit? Or neither?- Spoiler:
(ChibiLeen) When your allies deploy your leader, the skills of your allies kick in. If you have maxed Master of Land, Ruler of Air and Parter of Sea, but your ally didn't level them at all, then the stats of your unit will not be boosted when deployed by an ally. Same with skills that only affect the leader unit, they are not transferred: Speed Demon, for example, only affects your leader when you deploy him/her, it doesn't kick in when your allies use your leader (the Speed Demon skill of your allies only affects their own leader too). Is there somewhere I can see my stats from the game, a lot of the skills require killing x number of enemies in training or being summoned x times or whatever. Is there a place I can see how many more I would need for the next level of whatever?- Spoiler:
(larrydust) As far as I know, there is no way to see your current kill or summon totals for skill gain. For skills that require deploying units with a specific skill, does calling allies count as deploying or only placing MY units with the required skill? Also, does using the units in question in battles count?- Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) Only your own units count. Is there a required level for deployments to count towards these requirements? If not, does the count reset at each level?
I just advanced Snake Eater from Lv3 to Lv4. The Lv4 requirement was 50 poison deployments. The Lv5 requirement is 75 poison deployments. I deployed 4 Lady Suns & 1 Yuriya 6 consecutive times in 2-7 after unlocking Lv4. That would count as 30 poison deployments, but the skill is still greyed out.
I'm well beyond the level requirement and got plenty of Luna & Ally Points so that isnt either.- Spoiler:
(galaad97) It could very well be that it's based on the number of missions where you deploy poison units rather than how many poison units you deploy. If that's the case then whether you use one or two or three it won't go any faster, it'll still just count as one.
(wolfdreamer101) After getting a chance to test it out I believe it is 10 quests no matter how many are deployed Sad
Here's what I did. I had just hit SoA lv5 which requires 40 deploys and getting to SoA lv6 requires 50. So I kept track of how many Claudio's and how many quests I did before being able to buy Lv6.
I did these all with Quest 37-6 since I'm still grinding for the event.
Run #1: 5 Claudio Run #2: 5 Claudio (not able to purchase Lv 6, so looks like the amount doesn't matter) Run #3: 1 Claudio Run #4: 1 Claudio Run #5: 1 Claudio Run #6: 1 Claudio Run #7: 3 Claudio Run #8: 2 Claudio (was testing if having multiples counted as 2 for some reason, but no) Run #9: 1 Claudio Run #10: 1 Claudio (finally able to buy it)
So after that test it does seem that its the quests completed with an Atk boost unit deployed that make up the count. I was seriously hoping this wasn't the case, and maybe Claudio is just bugged somehow. I don't have an Alex or else I would test if having different Atk Boost units counted as multiples nor do I have an ally with an AtK boost leader at the moment.
(Happiemealz) I tried the multiple Claudio thing almost 2 months ago. I was suprised that it didn't work because the older forum posts said it did. One Claudio or five, no difference - you only get one count towards SoA per run. I guess they patched the shortcut. For the snake eater skill, it requires you to deploy a poison unit x times in order to increase the skill. Does deploying an ally's poison unit count? If you deploy 2 poison units for one battle, does it count as 2?- Spoiler:
(predator852) Deploying allies does not count toward your number. But deploying two poision units during the same quest (even two with the same name) from your own army does count as deploying 2 times...
(HoundR) Like themadmanazn said before, only your units count for skill-based skills (haha) Once I've reached the Lv10 in the Speed Demon skill, will, for example, Angela, that has S speed, improve to a further step? - Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) Nope, most units do not change speed rank.
(Ghost_Star) The speed of the leader will increase by 20% with maxed Speed Demon, but that wont necessarily increase the rank as the whole rank of B is greater than 20% can overcome. Only those cards close to the next rank will see an up rank in speed.
Angela will go from lets say .6 seconds per attack to .5 (just made those numbers up) but as there is not rank above S you wont see rank up. If rank S starts at .8 and you have a B that attacks at .9, then you would see a rank increase (again just making numbers up)
Battle Seasoned doesnt have anything to do with speed, only skill, increasing the damage of poison from a rank 5* to a rank 6*.

| Subject: Device Issues Thu Jan 10, 2013 9:32 pm | |
| 17. Device IssuesAny questions in regards to the phone or other device (PC doesn’t count) you use to play Fantasica on or any errors you’ve encountered on your device can be found here.I play Fantasica on the Galaxy S2. Is it possible to buy a card pack with those coins with Paypal or is it only possible to buy with a Credit Card? I don’t play very long, but I don't like the idea of playing ages to collect millions of luna to finally get my first 6*. And when you buy a pack, is it 100% that it's a good card? Or are 1~4*s still possible?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) I can't answer your Galaxy question. On iOS, it bills whichever credit card your iTunes account is linked to. But hell no, it is NOT 100% you'll get a "good" (5/6*) card. You can get anything from 2* to 6*. Unless you're lucky, a box will typically just yield various 2*s, 3*s, and 4*s.
(memphiskite) I got the same phone as you, and no, Mobage will only accept your credit card. It saves your details too, so only risk it if you know you're not gonna lose your phone or you plan to burn it when you get rid of it. Is it possible to log in on an iPad, & buy it there with the special card you have to charge money into it to buy things on that? And log back in on the phone?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) You mean iTunes credit? Sure, it should be possible, since you just need to log in with your Mobage account on the iPad, and when you buy the IAP it will ask for your Apple ID and password. I registered my device and 2 days later my phone broke, so with my new phone in hand, I can’t get any gifts for the current event out, I’ve read in this thread that I would need to email Mobage. Could someone shoot me a link in the thread or via private message that would let me contact them?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) Try this: http://support.mobage.com/ask?lang=en_US&question=support&categoryName=Fantasica My previous device crashes constantly but it is registered and not my new device but when I go to register my new device, I can’t because my old device is registered, anyway to fix this?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) Unfortunately, Mobage/Silicon haven't been very forthcoming about transferring devices. You may have to keep playing on the old device, or create an account on the new device, level it up to level 31, and trade your stuff over.
However, you shouldn't have to! I really suggest emailing Mobage support and letting them know your old device broke or whatever and you want to transfer the account to a new device. Keep emailing them about it until they do something, so that they know it's a real issue.
Yep. You may want to read through this thread (http://www.fantasicaunofficial.com/t513p75-announcement-sept-27-device-registration-new-trading-rules) -- starting on the bottom of the page I linked you to, Gamkins posts emails from his friend to Fantasica staff and their responses.
The last page, you'll see there's a very ambiguous response. It doesn't seem like they're willing to actually re-register devices (god knows why) but they may be working on it. The more people who continuously email them about the issue, the greater the probability they will spur into action. Have anyone gotten the "error parsing data" message when trying to launch the app? How do you guys solve it?- Spoiler:
(larrydust) I updated my game through Google Play, got the "Error parsing data!" message, and was unable to launch the app. I finally found a work-around and I am now back in the game. Reinstalling the app from Google Play did not work, but I noticed that the game version was 1.9.0.2.4, with the desktop icon of Gremory. I ended up downloading an older version (1.7.0. from a third-party site. I allowed it to update only from within the app, I did not update it through Google Play. (The older version I installed has Avril on the desktop icon.) If you need to do this, you will need to enter Settings>Applications and check "Unknown Sources." Then go to the third-party website which contains an older version of Fantasica and download/install it. Once this is done, you can uncheck "Unknown Sources" if you like. The website I used to download the older version is: http://www.androidgamesroom.com/stand-alone-games/83967.htm (I have used this site to download a few apps before and have never found any problems.) I am currently back inside Fantasica, running version 1.7.0.8. If anyone needs help going through this process, feel free to PM me or post here. I'm on my way to work, but will check here every now and then. Good luck everyone. EDIT: This only applies to those using an Android device, not to iOS users. I am using an LG Thrill 4G running Gingerbread (2.3). Every time I try to load the game, I get stuck on the loading screen with it endlessly saying "Preparing". Is there anyway I can fix this?- Spoiler:
(GoldoaWillNotMove) In case you're wondering, there was a problem with the cache or something. I don't know if the iOS store has this but on the Fantasica page on the Google Play/Android store, there's a link that goes to a "cleaner" download. Just download tha,t then run it and you should be able to play again if you had this problem. I ran into a problem with the game update today. It's asking me to exit and restart the application but I don't know how. What I've been doing to restart the app is just shutting it off and restarting it back up. I also read the announcement and it said android users must download the latest version from the Google Play Store but they didn't explain where and how to do it.- Spoiler:
(vul) Go into the Android Market (now called Google Play Store) and update the app like you usually update apps. (Settings > My Apps > Updates) Somehow this game will cause the phone screen to remain switched on constantly. Anybody facing the same issue? Using Samsung Note 2 on Android 4.1.2 here. iPhone doesn't have this issue at all...- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) Yes, this was a feature added a few months ago where it would do some internal page refresh, keeping the screen from turning off. I personally like this as when it does lock or turn my screen off, it would some times bug out and reset the game while I was in the middle of a quest/event. Very annoying.
It used to be the case that upon unlocking the screen, it would go right back into the quest but this latest update sends it into 'resuming'... which I guess is more stable.
I haven't looked into the games settings but there may be something there. Also your phone/tablet settings may have something you can use to prevent apps from refreshing like this (but if you watch a movie, it will black out your screen) or just change the amount of time the screen will stay on and it should beat the internal game refresh.

| Subject: Account Related Thu Jan 10, 2013 9:32 pm | |
| 18. Account RelatedAny questions related to your account (not involving registering your existing Fantasica account to a new device – see Device Issues section) can be found here. Can you block people in game? How do I blacklist someone?- Spoiler:
(tzerherman) You can in actual fact. Hit the Mobage symbol on the top left corner of your screen, go: "My Friends"--->"Find Friends"---->"Search", type their in-game name, click their profile, then click "Block User". This stops them from posting on your wall, but it doesn't stop them from being able to see your profile, and he can still attack you and stuff.
(larrydust) Blacklisting is possible, but a little difficult at first.
>Write down the in-game name of the person you want blacklisted. The name, not the ID number. And capital/lower-case counts. >Click on the Mobage icon in the upper-left of your screen. >Click "My Friends". >Click "Find Friends". >Click "Search". >Enter the person's in-game name in the empty field, and click search (magnifying glass icon). >Find the person's name in the list and click on their name. Don't click on Add. >Scroll to the bottom of their profile page and click "Block User", then confirm.
You now have someone blacklisted. That person will no longer be able to post on your Fantasica page. I hope this helps! I would like to know how to reset an account. I messed up in my account, and if I do not create another account to register the device. - Spoiler:
(Elysian-Field) You can't reset an account yourself. You have to e-mail Mobage about it. How do I contact Mobage or Silicon Studio for customer service issues?- Spoiler:
Here's Mobage: http://support.mobage.com/ask?lang=en_US&question=support&categoryName=Fantasica Alternatively you can email support@mobage.com.
(tzerherman) Its best to PM them via facebook, they always reply the fastest in my experience. I accidentally skipped to enter a referral code and can’t find the option anywhere. Can anyone help there? Is it too late now, or can I reset the game somehow?- Spoiler:
(aszutai) The 3* you get is rather useless honestly. Once you completed Boot Camp, you'll probably end up with much better cards. I have a question on how to purchase mobacoins on iOS.- Spoiler:
(HoundR) You can buy iTunes cards, and redeem your code in iTunes. Or use a credit card, done in iTunes as well. After that, go to shop/card pack tab and try to buy whatever you're interested in. Another window will open with several mobacoin options. Choose whichever you need and you're done. I have a problem with purchasing coins. I hadn't received my coins yet, but my card has been charged for purchasing. I've contacted Mobage support 2 days ago but there's no any news from them at all. Did anyone have the same problem like me?- Spoiler:
(larrydust) I haven't personally experienced any issues. But from what I can gather, you shouldn't even bother with contacting Mobage as they will send you a standardized response. You should contact either Google Play (on Android) or iTunes (on iOS) to arrange for a refund of your money or coins. I want to get Fanta Points, but whenever I press the Buy button, it keeps tellin me "Error. This transaction could not be fulfilled." and stuff like that. Has anyone gotten through this?- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) There may be some sort of issue you're having with your iTunes account (or Google Play if you're an Android user). It would be best to get in contact with Apple to get it sorted out.
I have also heard that if you purchase quite a lot for fanta points within a small amount of time, Apple will block your account due of fraudulent actions, even if you are the actual owner of the account (although they don't know that since they're not literally sitting next to you while you buy them). I'm not sure if it’s just me but every time I try to play the event it crashes on me either midway through a wave or a boss battle. By some miracle I've made it to floor 50 but this constant crashing is getting to me. Not to mention I even crash sometimes on regular quests. Is this just me? I know there is a thread for this but that was back in Oct. Just wondering if anyone is exp the same problems I am.
And if I can't find a fix for this problem would I be able to transfer my account to another product or will I be forced to trade everything to a new account once it reaches Lv.31?- Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) You can log into the same account on different devices (assuming the new device has not had another account registered to it already). So after deleting and reinstalling my app, I have to log in again but I don't remember my password. And when I put in my e-mail with the ‘forgot password’ button, I don't get an e-mail, which is weird, cause I pretty much use one e-mail for accounts that aren't super confidential. Should I contact Mobage? Or I should ask, how should I contact Mobage?- Spoiler:
(wilyone) I'd contact Mobage. I'd also double check that the email address went in correctly for forgetting your password. http://support.mobage.com/kbarticle?id=kA0C00000008TSQ&lang=en_US Are there any ways to get MobaCoins for free?- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) From time to time, I get a pop up saying 'Install this app and get free coins', and have gotten over 300 so far doing this. It's starting to repeat some apps though, and I'm not getting a second tip of coins for the ones I've already taken the offer on. I recently decided to spend just a little money on this game. On the Step Up packs, I purchased Step 1 and 2 just fine, however every single time I try to purchase Step 3, it just says "A connection error has occured. Will return to Top Page." and kicks me back to the starting page. I've changed connection from Wi-Fi to my plan's cellular data network, restarted the phone, but without fail I get this message everytime. It's annoying that now $5 is tied into the game I cannot use.
Does anybody else have this issue? Or know who I can contact? I was able to find a vague link (not clickable) through the game, but that's the only information I can find.- Spoiler:
(Orothe) Nevermind, fixed it. I clicked and it asked if I wanted to purchase it, and then said no. Then I clicked again so it'd ask again, selected 'yes', then it worked. I didn't receive my 4*+ ticket when I completed my Tweets. Where is it?- Spoiler:
(Whenesday) First thing first: You get the featured 4* for the first 10 tweets.
Then, for each subsequent 20 tweets you get one premium ticket. Not 4*+ ticket. So you will get it on your 30th tweet and every 20 after that.
(Cam) The page says:
Earn a 4* card! Get a Premium Ticket every 20 tweets!!* *(starting after the 10th tweet)
So on your 10th tweet you get a 4* card [Avril] Every 20 tweets after that (30, 50, 70, etc..) you get a regular Premium Ticket.
(Colaleon) You get the 4* card Avril on your 10th tweet. You get a Premium Ticket for every 20 tweets after the 10th tweet.
10th: Avril 30th: Premium Ticket 50th: Premium Ticket 70th: Premium Ticket etc.
You can't get a 4* ticket as a reward for tweeting. You read that wrong. It says "Earn a 4* card!", not "Earn a 4* ticket" (sadly). Is there anyway to get MobaCoins for free on the iPhone version of Fantasica. I know the Android has special deals for it.- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) For iOS users, it's actually called 'Fanta Points' for... err... financial reasons....?
Anyway, from my short experiences with using an iPod for Fanta play, I only got ads 'telling' me to download this game, not like Android 'bribing' players to download the game.
So unfortunately, iPhone users miss out on free coins...
However, if you have a spare Android phone lying around and decide to log in your Fantasica account into it, you can earn the 'MobaCoins' through that phone but remember the coins don't carry over back to the iPhone. They are earned only and stuck on the Android phone.
(themadmanazn) To be fair, iOS users have like a 10% discount on their Fanta Coins, so really the tiny amount free you get on Android is kinda meaningless in the long run. Not to mention, a lot of places have discounts on iTunes gift cards. I'm playing on two devices and now I think I'd just prefer two accounts. How can I sign out on one of my devices? It seems to kick me off about once a month maybe as a password check, but I'd prefer not to wait for that.- Spoiler:
(Tashego) Click on Mobage icon on top left corner. Click on your username above the game icon. Scroll down and click on Log Out. My wife typically tinkers around these games with me. I saw that if accounts are thought to be both the same person the are both stripped and banned. How strictly is this enforced?- Spoiler:
(Esofonic) If my memory serves me right, as long as you don't do any suspicious activity which might raise the flag, you are good. Seen some couples playing fanta together and doing fine up until now.
(Kadaan) There's nothing in the TOS that says one person can't play multiple accounts. The only restriction they put in is device registration.
(Zerhuu) Supicious activity would be unbalanced transations to random people many times. Become allies and have some fun! I doubt you two would run into any issues esp if you keep trading with eachother etc. They aren't on the lookout to ban people who play together many have RL friends/family that play with them!
(BkWiz) Suspicious activity = a level 1 alt suddenly trading thousands in TE who has no track record of trading prior. Otherwise, playing with a spouse etc = not suspicious activity.
(Tentacle Love) Use separate devices.
I think that's the biggest and probably the only thing you should really worry about. I very seriously doubt that you would not know the reasonable limits to what you should do to help another account. And I doubt they'd overreact to anything that wasn't jaw-dropping levels of cheating.
Just don't log onto your family member's account via your device, and don't log into yours on their device. and make sure that they know that as well.

| 19. MiscellaneousJust random questions and answers this man has no idea where to put them in the other sections. Hope looking here helps you out somehow.Anyone know the name of the japanese version and whether i can get it on my iphone?- Spoiler:
(po1102) It's 「逆襲のファンタジカ」, and no I can't find it on appstore.
(memphiskite) Probably cause the iphone isn't set to the Japanese region or something.... I haven't got an iPhone so I cant test that for sure, but if I think about it like the PS3, the region you select as your 'home destination' will determine the store you're allowed to access to purchase stuff. Eg. you say you're from America, you get access to the North American regional app store. If you say you're from Thailand, you'll get privileges to the Asia regional app store. That's just my assumption on how the iPhone might work. What's the point of filling up the album? Do you get anything or is it just for fun?- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) Just for fun/completion's sake. I'm up to 130/165 now or something. I like having swathes of cards available to look at.
(King-Shawe) Also, filling in the album is a requirement to max out the troop formation skill (unit count increase). You don't have to complete the whole album, but you do need a decent amount of cards.
(Elysian-Field) You need 75 monsters/units in your album to master that skill. I like to do it for the sake of having a Goal you can work yourself to. What does album mean?- Spoiler:
(larrydust) On your main page, select "Profile." One of your options there will be "View Album." Your album will contain an image of every single card that you have possessed since you started playing the game. It has no real purpose in game except for those who have a "collector's mindset" as there is no reward or quest for completing it. You actually have 2 albums, one for units and one for monsters.
People often request album trades to complete their album. (This is done by receiving the card you need in a trade, then sending it back to the owner once you have it in your album.) Please be very careful when requesting to album trade cards. Album trades are the most common way of scamming in this game. Proceed with caution. Is there any way to turn off the repetitive game music so that you can play your own music in the background? I've tried turning the sound off for Fantasica, but the music on my phone just pauses whenever I open Fantasica.- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) You can go to the options menu and turn off music/sounds.
(po1102) My earphones have remote control so I can just hit play to listen to my own music while playing.
(hereticloki) Fantasica kills google play on my android, but let’s my podcaster app keep playing. Not sure what the difference is between the two, maybe the need for data connection on the Google Play, but it even stops playing on songs I've downloaded. Can Android and iOS folks play together or are they on separate servers?- Spoiler:
(Brokenluckx3) They play together. What does WW stand for?- Spoiler:
(Sientara) If it is referring to a card, it’s 5* Werewolf from the Halloween event. How does one post on their own wall?- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) On my android, there is a field on the main page I can just type into and it posts on my wall. Also you can scroll the bottom icons over to your profile and in there you can make a 'status' comment. I've been wondering for a while now, but why on some people pages are comments all question marks? For example you may see "?? ??? ????180? ???? ?.?"- Spoiler:
(Whenesday) Most likely it's due to them typing in Korean text and you're on an iOS device. It appears fine on an Android platform. Mobage or Silicon Studios? Who owns who or...- Spoiler:
(aszutai) I was curious as well after you asked so I looked up their company profile.
Here are Silicon Studio’s major share holders: CREEK&RIVER Co., LTD. CSK HOLDINGS CORPORATION EXA CORPORATION GAGA CORPORATION IMAGICA DIGIX Inc. ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corp. Mitsubishi UFJ Capital Co., LTD. NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc. Ray Corporation SGI Japan, Ltd. Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. SQUARE ENIX Co., LTD. Sumisho Computer Systems Corporation YAMAHA CORPORATION
Interesting list of shareholders...I don't see Mobage on there, though unless the parent company is under a different name than the publishing company. So they're probably just a developer ~ publisher relationship. Which depends on the situation of their contract will determine who have majority of the control over Fantasica.
(57803882) DeNa Co owns Mobage; 11.75% of DeNa Co belongs to So-net Entertainment 58.2% of So-net Entertainment is owned by Sony. So those companies are related, although not too directly. What does increasing your player level (not card level) improve upon?- Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) A couple things 1. To get higher level skills you need certain player level. To max all your skills, you need to be level 100. 2. Allies that are level much higher than you are available for a less amount of time too aid you in battles. 3. To trade in the game you need to be level 31 or higher. Is there any reason to spam your allies walls every time you do a round of braving? Is there some sort of ettiquette rule I'm missing? Or hidden bonus? As far as I can tell there's no reason TO do it, but at least 1 (lots of spam, pushing off useful messages) not to.- Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) Newer players just like to do it. Tells your allies you are active, I guess.
(Brokenluckx3) It's not just a newer players thing, most of my allies do this from time to time at least. Never players might do it EVERY time though, which drives me nuts.
But I think it's fun/clever, & sometimes people let their allies know what they're doing, like a Facebook status update. For example : 'at work brave' or 'adopting a dog brave' or whatever. I think my favorite that I've ever seen was "easy brave oven"
I think this pointless yet potentially cute spam is also good because it shows their activeness, & you can go to their page and check out if anyone is buying or selling anything you want. Did the ID numbers reset for the New Year or how do they work? Most people (from what I've paid attention to) start with 4, 5, 6 & are 8 digits long but I recently became allies with someone who had a 6 digit ID number. Does anyone know anything about that or have any speculations?- Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) 6 digit IDs are given specifically to incredibly sexy and intelligent people. (I honesly have no idea how IDs are given, but most seem to be 8 digit.) When I view other player's profiles, sometimes the Last Rare Card Report shown says 'NaN NaN' (instead of the date and time the card was drawn by the player). What does NaN NaN mean? To be honest, at first I thought it was another unit...- Spoiler:
(clocksprocket) I don't know about the Rare Card Report, but that just seems like a reporting error. NaN stands for "not a number," so possibly when the rare card report goes to pull the newest rares, it comes back with something wrong for the date/time fields and reports that. How many years this game exists?- Spoiler:
(Ghost_Star) - Feb 01 2013 I think the games been going since August of last year, so 6 months or so.
(clocksprocket) August of last year = August 2012, if it wasn't clear. (Well, maybe I just find it weird that we're in 2013 now!) And that's actually for iOS -- the release was around August 7th I think. I believe the Android market was able to play it a month before that, in July or so. What does "kik" mean?- Spoiler:
(TwilightSmash64) Kik is a messaging app that has grown in popularity due to being able to register with a username instead of your actual name, making it easier to find allies and users on it. No 40 character limit and a very efficient design makes it a good app to use for chatting with allies/other users and trading.

| Subject: Forum Related Thu Jan 10, 2013 9:33 pm | |
| 20. Forum RelatedThere must some place you can go to if you have any questions about navigating through this forum...How do I delete a thread I posted?- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) I don't think you can. You'll have to ask the moderators to do it for you. How do I search a specific thread? I found the search button at the top that let's me search all posts, but I can't figure out how to just search one thread.- Spoiler:
(Elysian-Field) If you go to your profile, you can see Favorites and currently watching (topics). All the topics where you post a reply in will be in there. This is an easy way to navigate if you can't find a topic that you know you posted in. It narrows down the search.
(clocksprocket) If you ever need to find a post, go to your profile --> statistics --> find posts/topics by user.
(ChibiLeen) One roundabout way of doing it is to view your own profile (Profile->View Profile), go in the Statistics tab, select "Number of topics", and provided you haven't created dozens of topics, you'll find it easily in the list.
A better way of doing it is to give a unique name to your shop in the thread title (e.g. my thread is named "Leen's Exchange"), and to use the forum's search function to find it.
(Whenesday) There's always the handy "Bookmark" function on your web browser for that!
(Xzaral) Make it a watched topic. Then just go to your watched topics thread. It even sends an email when someone posts to it.
(aszutai) I just put my own shop (trading post) in my signature. I post often enough so I usually just find one of my recent post and click on the link. Is there a way to search posts? When I do a search, it only seems to look for key words in the thread title, not within posts. If we could search posts it would make searching the trade section actually useful.- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) Google is your friend. Not sure about random success but everytime I try to find a particular post in the Got Questions, Ask Here section, the top answer (or second one) is the right one I'm looking for.
(lmnseason) I use google sometimes but not so efficient. How do you make your own thread? For example, like listing your cards, wishlist and stuff.- Spoiler:
(predator852) You go to the trading section and at the top there's a button that says create topic. That's really all there is. You can only have one trading topic at the time, but if you edit the first post you can change the name of the thread, and anything in the first post... Is there no way of receiving a notification that someone has responded to your post/thread etc? Or do you have to come back manually and look for it?- Spoiler:
(predator852) Emails come right to my phone! I don’t know if there's another way, I just used my gmail to sign up and it emails you everytime someone responds.
(memphiskite) If you scroll right down to the bottom of the page of the trading thread, and click on "Watch this topic for replies", you should receive an email or 2 you've entered in your profile of all replies to that topic. Not sure if there's any other settings that need to be done, but that should work fine. Could you also explain the bumping?- Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) Threads are sorted by last reply. The threads at the top of the trading center are the ones with the most recent reply. By "bumping" you reply to your own thread to bring it to the top of the trading center. "Bump" is just a common thing to type for this, but in theory you could reply with anything and the effect is the same. How do you get more stars, shown under some user profile/username. I see 1, 2, 3, 4 stars or so on. I currently have one.- Spoiler:
(ChibiLeen) The number of stars under your name is directly related to your number of posts. The more you participate in the forum, the more stars you have. Also, when you acquire a 5*/6* ingame, you can send a request to Crowex for a status upgrade. You'll get a light green / dark green user name if you have a 5* / 6* leader. See Rankings Membership Information thread for details. For the nice green username, is it permanent even if you change your lead back to 4*?- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) Yeah, it's permanent once Crowex has seen you have a 5* or 6* as your leader. He won't keep track of you all the time either if you don't use a 5*/6* leader too often (but your allies might get depressed about it). I'm trying to send a PM but it stays in the 'outbox'. why won't it go to Sentbox? Am I too dumb to send a PM?- Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) I think it changes when the recipient reads the PM.
(myad) If I'm not mistaken, PM in outbox means the receiver has not read your PM. That's all. Once they have read it, it will go to SENT. Can someone tell me how to put a table into a forum post (if possible)? And also, what's that button all the way to the top right when you're making a post? It has two "A", one, small, black A and one, larger, blue A.- Spoiler:
(themadmanazn) The two "A"s is font size, the single "A" is just font. Not sure if that is your question... (memphiskite) Currently, this is one way to do a table within this forum: Cecilia | Ellen | Reve | Patricia | Laura | Diane | Mary | Anne | Paige |
You can find this option in the 4th group from the left (containing 'Quote' & 'Code' - before 'Host an Image') Or the code is: - Code:
-
[table border="1"] [tr] [td] [/td][td] [/td][td] [/td] [/tr][tr] [td] [/td][td] [/td][td] [/td] [/tr][tr] [td] [/td][td] [/td][td] [/td] [/tr] [/table] The table border is the size of how big you want the border around the whole table Between 'td' & '/td' is where you want to insert the word or info within. (bleachcosplay) I figured out that the button I was talking about was the "Switch Editor Mode" button. Not completely sure what it exactly does. Is there a limit on how many topics you can have in "Topic(s) being watched"?- Spoiler:
(memphiskite) I don't think there should be. Try and add as much as you want to look at and then tell us if you have reached a limit.

| All done for now. It's ok to post after this.
Jan 11 2013: Initial list completed. Jan 21 2013: Updated with new questions, added more answers to existing ones up to date. Feb 04 2013: Updated with new questions, added more answers to existing ones up to date. About 3 questions are yet to be answered. Mar 05 2013: Updated with new questions, added more answers to existing ones up to date. May have missed a couple that could be important, but my head went dizzy all of a sudden. Apr 02 2013: Slow update since seeing the same already-answered questions get reanswered again and again makes me feel like what's the point. Anyway, updated with new questions and added more answers to existing ones. Have missed a few and will use it as an excuse for people to hit me about it. I feel like it's getting messy now but I don't wanna clean it up...
Some random ideas to improve its performance: - add a list of questions within each topic, making it two lists of questions within this topic. - colour-coded (cause we like a little 'flavour' into our lives) - credits list of all forum members who answered these questions posted. - splitting Units/Monsters section in two to separate the questions for easy viewing. - more links to other forum topics!

| No probs, mate! It's been bugging me for a while and it's only now that I've gotten my ass off the couch to do something about it. Now all I have to do is update it when new questions come in or answers are given and hopefully keep this at the front page so that it's visible to see. | |
