My first Sonia I recruited with only 20 sss. Since then I havent been able to recruit my other sonia nor my laura with higher combos of sss and ssl xD

Big amounts or small, it's always a gamble. At this point, we've got a lot of time to farm stones and I'm beginning to think going all out is the way to go despite my crazy luck. If you've got limited time, small amounts might be the way to go but ultimately more players are recruiting with bulk than tiny attempts.

Well after giving up yesterday I got hooked again, training through out last night and today - accumulated about 60 SSS

I tried 10 times with 1 SSS on a level 50 Laura, failed each time.

Immediately after, tried 50 SSS on a level 50 Laura - SUCCESS!

The issue with going all-out is there's still a chance to fail -- I think it was Elysian earlier who used 16L/1000S on a 5* and failed anyway?

And last time, I failed 3x in a row with best possible success chance message. Most people who know me here know what kind of luck I have, though Laughing

e: I guess the point is, it might be better to try with smaller amounts multiple times and get lucky once, than to try once with a really large amount and lose it all. Sadly we don't have exact probabilities, or it would be really easy to calculate at what point you should try your luck.

I attempted the 1 SSS per Recruit route for Sonia...50 tries and 500K later, no luck. I would continue to see where it'll lead, but my vault isn't filled enough for that. Maybe I'll try again at the next message increment.

Well I fear low odds with a passion, and if I can do something to increase the odds just a little bit I will, seeing how 50/50 chance failed me every time...

Anyway, I still have a mermaid left to convert. I'll try your suggestion and see how it goes.

I highly recommend people that are going to attempt low stone volume - high frequency attempts to level their monsters up as much as possible. Every time you level it is X permanent soul stones applied towards all future attempts on that monster. It also helps out on defense if you should fail to convert before the event is over.

To be honest, for 4* recruitment, I would just get the 2LSS (e: technically it's 3LSS for best chance, or 2 and some small stones) or the 100SSS and be almost certain of succeeding (though, er, I failed 3x in a row once... go figure).

With a 5*, losing 20LSS will hurt a lot more, but if it succeeds, you'll have a nice new shiny 5* unit! Smile

Of course, if you're feeling lucky...
