[EVENT] Black Dragon Recruitment [Oct 5 - Oct 12]

Summary
During Recruitment events, you are able to use soul stones (which come in large and small forms) to make various monster units into usable hero units. Large soulstones (LSS) are often awarded as prizes for events, and also typically come as a bonus with boxes during the recruitment event. Small soulstones (SSS) can be found in chests during training. Both types can be traded, but be aware that within trades it doesn't tell you which type is being traded, so make sure you know which is which (LSS are lighter in color)!

How many SS it takes to recruit a monster differs depending on 1) the monster's rarity (higher rarity = more difficult), 2) the monster's level (higher level gives a slight discount to number of SS used), 3) type of SS used (LSS are worth about ~30 SSS, so it takes less of those to recruit). When a monster is recruited, it turns into a level 1 unit, regardless of what level the monster was before.

When recruiting, Mina will tell you what she thinks the success rate will be. There are different phrases she will use to indicate success chance. Be aware that even the highest possible success rate is not 100%. You can still fail even if Mina is telling you that recruitment is very likely to succeed! In the event that you fail, you will lose the luna and SS used, but keep the monster card.

Very nice work Clocks - for first timers maybe mention where in training you can start to find Small Stones? Is it truly any chest or does it only start on a certain X-Y area?

Any chest, in any training level. However, I am unsure if the drop-rates are different. You may not get as many from 1-1 as you would from another level.

Edit: Another question, expanding on your answer above. Some chests give more than one stone? So you'll be training for example, hit a chest "You found XYZ Small Stones"? Similar to when you hit a chest with Luna in it and the amount is random? What's the typical amounts im the past been - 5-10?

Edit: Another question, I've been reading there was text that stones would be whiped after that last re-incarnation event and everyone would start at zero? Apparently that didn't happen? Maybe something to keep in mind if we see similar text for this event, or something to keep in mind either way?

To your first question -- no, you only ever get 1SSS in a chest if you find one.

To your second question -- yes, originally, there was a warning that all stones would be permanently removed after the event. People took this to mean that soulstone inventories would be wiped. However, anyone who had any left over can go to shops --> inventory and see them still there, so apparently they still exist. Whether they will remain when event starts is still to be seen, but they probably will.

Last time this affected the markets quite heavily, as by the end of the event people were desperately trying to get rid of all their soulstones, for cheap or even free to allies who needed them. This time around I figure it will be different, since there are 1) way more soulstones needed to reincarnate all the monsters available, considering 1000+ people own a Sonia monster card by now and 2) soulstones might not permanently disappear, meaning they will retain value even at the end of the event.

Do you mean the soulstones themselves?

You get SSS free during training levels, or LSS free with box purchases. Last time there was no separate option to purchase LSS. How much you can trade them at will be determined by the market when the event starts and isn't something I can immediately predict.

Not exactly, but from what I recall:

4*s: about 97SSS, or ~3LS
5*s: 17LSS or so? 600SS? something like that

Those are the values for best possible success chance, which, like I said, is not 100%. I'm not even sure it's close to 90%, might be lower. So it might make more sense to try your luck with fewer SS.

e: for example, heard someone reincarnated Faith (6*) with 10LSS. Someone else tried to reincarnate Erhard (5*) with 20LSS and failed.

I honestly have no idea. That's up to you. I just have amazingly awful luck in Fantasica.

Where did u get the news? Are u sure the old DT monsteres can be recruited again? I don't want this to happen. I want to keep three DT monsteres guard my yard.

You don't have to recruit them. And from the japanese wiki -- each new recruitment event they've had has included the monsters you could recruit in the previous ones as well as the new ones.

Yaaaaaaay now it is going to be even harder to find the DT monsters to album T^T

I didnt see this anywhere, so how do you get Georgios? I see him on this page, but he doesnt seem to be a prize for the castle event at all. Do you get him by converting the black dragon?
