Edit: 2 times with 10 SS, a bit higher chance, failed...

Best not to bother with such small odds. I doubt anything less than 20 SSS will be a good odds to play.

Hiya! Been going to these forums for a while but finally made an account.

So yeah, either I'm very lucky or gambling with small amounts works out.

Just for fun, first day, I tried recruiting Tulia with one small soulstone. It worked. o.o
So cool, I think maybe I'll get lucky. Try ten small on Sonia...it works. O.O
No luck with my Laura, did three tries of ten each then a couple one stone tries. I'm thinking I won't push my luck or Luna any further and just save for her.

So I gave up gambling and got Harpy converted for 64 SS...

Tried for the heck of it: 10SSS Tullia. Failed. =p

For my Sonia, I had it leveled up to lvl 40. I used 20 sss 6 times and failed. Farmed out some more sss, tried 40 of them and success.

I'm thinking max success rate is still only around 50ish% at best, meaning might as well try low amounts repeatedly. Bound to crit once in there. Just from my experience though.

Recruited Luce with 20 sss first try, tried twice on Tullia with 20 with no luck.

Yeah I agree with you. I remember failing three max chance tried in a row during Demon Tower. I'm currently leveling feeders for my Laura, then I'll try 10 and 20.

lvl 35 sonia used 5ssl and 120 sss
failed =0 i guess my luck this time sucked..

my laura was lvl 19 and i used 7 ssl and 100sss it worked. (1st recruitment)

= 0 i will try doing 1ssl or 20 sss each once i restock on stones....

Actually, I think that the 1 SSS recruitment strategy is optimal for players who have a lot of Luna. We know the odds of a successful recruitment is incremental, meaning that 1 SSS or 11 SSS will give you the same odds or success message from Mina for a 4*. If we are to trust other member's posts, we also know that recruitment with only 1 SSS is possible.

Without knowing the actual odds, let's assume that the lowest level of success is 3% (I am hoping it's more like 5% and not 1%). At 3%, 10 recruitment attempts in a row will yield a 26% success rate (20 attempts yield 46%, 30 attempts yield 60% and so on, it's marginally diminishing). The trade off is therefore Luna since it is 10K a recruitment.

Considering it will take 20 SSL or ~800 SSS to reach the highest success rate for a 5*, spending a million Luna (100 attempts with 95% success rate) is going to cost much less than spending precious TE to get SSL. Seeing as how SSL is going for ~3 TE and a 1 TE is going for ~75K, that's 4.5M Luna for a success rate that's somewhere between 75% and 99%.

Unless I made some egregious logical or assumption errors, spam 1 SSS recruitments if you have the Luna.

I've tried to do Sonia lvl 30ish with 10 SSS 8 times no dice....same when I used 4 SSL and 50 SSS.....I'm about to give up..

I tried to push my luck using ss[S] spending so much luna for my tullia. 5ss[S] at time 5x attempt and 10ss[S] 3x time attempt. Guess what? all failed.

I think i'll need ss[L] just what i did to my sonia but im out of ss[L].

Tried 5SSS 3 times and failed.
Leveled to 21
Tried 11SSS (got "Improbable but not impossible") 3 times and on the third try succeeded!

Now I gonna try Sonia 8D ... B>SSS? @__@

Level 30 Monster Sonia-used 20 SSS first, failed. Then said screw it and used the 4 LSS on her. Success. Mina had the "little faith" line upon recruiting.

Tried to recruit Sonia with 4SSL earlier in the game and failed.

I used more than 3 times as many SS, so yea I sneeze at your attempt
