). Then I went on to trade the SSL and some Halloween cards too cheaply Razz

Hello, my name is digitalsynner, and I am a Fantasica addict. I just got a flood of iTunes receipts in my email; about twice the number of transactions I remember making. I think I may have a problem.

In all seriousness, I just calculated that Fantasica is costing me $3.70 per day since my first purchase in September. Because I don't have cable TV or Xbox Live, this game is officially my largest entertainment expense.

I know some of us in the Fantasica community spend far more than this, and I know many have spent little or nothing on the game, and probably have progressed far more than I have.

What is the most efficient way to spend real world currency on Fantasica?

Most of my purchases were impulsive last minute buys to try to stay in the top 500 or 1000. I have no illusions about trying to rank higher than that; I am simply not able to invest that kind of time or $ in the game.

Should I just purchase 1 new series box per release, and step up my trading game in order to stay competitive? Other than event rewards like my 5* Werewolf, I have only scored a 5* Vivianne and a 6* Nina out of all the packs/boxes I've purchased.

It seems to me that the Premium Mega Box and Premium Box purchase incentives (blaze tix, Large Soul Stones, Potions, or Time Elixers) are just bait to get me to buy a bunch of cards that may very well be all 2* and 3*.

Is my only option to level 4* to trade for TE to trade for 5*/6*?

Bought my first box after being tired of being right outside Rank 100 for the 2nd FoA..

And among the 2,3 and 4*s, I actually gotten Monica! A very happy player here =)

I have yet to purchase a box, but I'm getting really close to the point of making the plunge. I enjoy the game immensely, so I don't feel bad throwing some money at it, but I want to make sure that I'm spending my money wisely.

I think I might way for them to release a series that I just really love, and then I'll get a series box for it.

I drew two pack last night. Didn't get 5/6* only 3* and 4*. Didn't want to spend on box due to the art work.
The rare cards reported at the same time as I drew the pack. No sure why no luck in getting rare cards. Very pissed.

I'm saving up all my money until the Reprint in a couple of months and then going to throw everything I have at it. Not because the cards are rare (because after the reprint they wont be) but because I really like some of them:

If I manage to snag 2 or 3 of those I'll probably never spend a dollar on this game again.

the Thanksgiving bonus blitz does indirectly confirm you can get 6* from even premium ticket as it reads on the premium ticket "Now with TRIPLE the chance to get a 6*"

naturally, i used the tickets i have saved up... out of 5 tickets... i got: 3x2*; 2x3*.

i guess if the chance at 6* is 0%... 3x0 = 0%. Very Happy

On the very first Premium Card Pack you get to draw (which is just 1 card) you only have to pay 100 moba coins. After that every additional card pack costs 300 coins.

Just bought 3 premium mega boxes today, and in the 1st and 2nd box i only got lots of 2* and 3* and some 4* cards. Got angry about this and took my last 3000 coins for another box, and hey besides the 2*/3* crap i pulled 5* sheryl and 6* monica.

I experienced the same thing on the full metal boxes, 2 boxes with max 4* and in the last box 2x5*.
