How many units?

Hi I just started this week and I have collected 9 4*. I was wondering how many I need to have before saving for 5*?

Can I enhance 4-5 4* then trade the rest? How many do you keep on reserve since I only ever need to deploy 3-4 on the quests.

it depends on what 4* are they,
and train them to lvl 40 and sell them for 3te each as feeders,
save the TE = Time Elixir and you could get a 5* for around 9te to 60TE depending on the 5*
