| Note: This guide was written several months ago, so many aspects of events have changed. I am working on overhauling the guide and updating with it, so just keep it as a general guide for now with more specifics later. These are the only events I have competed in so far, so if there are any events not listed, feel free to write a section and I will credit you. Many of the descriptions of events are based on opinion taken from my experiences of being new. They serve to assist people in making observations, but should not be taken as an unquestionable truth. Arena Event:- Spoiler:
Summary: The most popular event because you can earn a lot of TE from it. You form a team and compete in story mode and/or PVP mode.
You used to be able to grind and get TE from arena, now you get premium tickets, which can be recycled for ambrosia.
Tips And Considerations: As a new player with a 4* team you should make it a goal to find a way to get 5 cards with a deploy cost of under 100. Units most people are value slows, knockbacks, or speed because you can get more damage in. I like to have one unit with a poison skill. When you fight five of your units that you select for your team will fight, along with two randomly selected allies (who have to be online to be summoned). In my experience as a new player I found this event to be the most fun.
When fighting bosses in story mode you can use pots to save your progress. This is why it's a good idea to save up your Potion(P) for this event. It's a huge boost to BT if you are able to defeat the boss.
A complete guide to arena can be found here (It's really really really good!!)
http://www.fantasicaunofficial.com/t2172-arena-team-creation-guide-complete
Luna is most highly valued at this time, due to the need for people to enhance their cards. You may be able to trade luna for a 4*. Update Note: A new development in regular arena is that you can "stack" event units to get additional BT. This adds a new layer of strategy, since you have to decide if you are going to focus on having a stronger team for higher rankings of PVP or have a BT stacking team for story. Many people made teams of mostly event 4* and grinded in story mode to get the BT reward. As a new player you may want to save personal TE and see if you can use event 4* in conjunction with grinding to get the BT reward and get a 6*. Panel Event:- Spoiler:
Summary: An event where everyone gets something just for participating, it has many facets to it. The way everyone gets something for participating is that after a certain amount of BT is reached by the community (something high in the millions or billions) a panel will unlock and give everyone an item.
Note: As new chapters are being added new quests give move BT. You can generally tell which chapter gives the most BT because it has the highest count of monsters.
To obtain more BT you use special units during regular quests or special boss battles. The largest amount of BT is awarded from special boss fights that require "tickets," and they give you BT based on difficulty. During the Christmas event the largest BT that was rewarded from a boss battle was around 80K. To compare, completing 25-3 gives you 900 BT each 5 mins, and defeating the most difficult boss gives you 80K. I got a stopwatch app called "Stopwatch & Timer" (it's good because it lets you set custom tones, so you can get a nice sounding one that won't scare you) and set it for 3 mins after I defeated the quest so I could wake myself up.
Remember with panel events that your rank can slip very quickly (especially towards the end because that's when people use their tickets). So if you are aiming for rank 200, it may be best to get up to rank 150 and have a stockpile of tickets to keep your rank (this is just an example, not an exact figure).
Tips and Considerations: If you are a new player it may be best to compete for rank casually if there are special units that give BT, since it is difficult to compete with 5* and 6* units who get extra BT for ranking. Also keep in mind to earn the 5* in the panel with BT you will most likely have to grind 11-12 hours a day straight. Panel is a really great way to get your first 5*, but it is by no means easy.
An important thing to understand about panel events is that the cooldown on quests is every 5 mins (It will take you around 2 mins to complete the quest and you will have a 3 in break). Compared to other events that have 10 min cooldowns, this event is very difficult because you don't get as large of a break in between. If you are someone that is skilled in grinding this may be an event that interests you.
Warning: Chapters 1-4 don't give you BT during panel events.
Tower Event:- Spoiler:
Summary: This is an event where you take one of your strongest units and fight with three allies to get to the top of a tower that has 100 floors. For each 10 floors there is a boss, who is strong against a certain type of attack, such as melee, and weak against another like missile. It's helpful to refer to the current event section of the forums to find the weaknesses of the bosses so you can come up with a plan before you face them. Each time you complete 100 floors, it is called a "run." The floor rewards for your first run vary, but the one thing that won't change is that everyone gets a 5* monster for completing it. The second run you receive rewards for each 10 floors, and in the end you receive a 4* monster card. The Third run is not worth doing unless you are competing for rank, since you don't get any rewards for clearing 10 floors, only a 4* monster after clearing.
Tips and Considerations: As a new player it is very very possible to complete the first run of the tower with 4* units. I suggest that if you are new that you do so, since there are many nice rewards, and it also gives you a chance to level up your lead card. Since you only deploy one unit, and your ally units don't take any exp your card will level quickly. The second run is drastically harder, so it is up to you based on how much you enjoy the event.
Similarly to Panel events, your rank can slip very quickly towards the end of this event. This is due to the long cooldowns which make TE very powerful. If you have to wait 10 mins to do a quest, and someone else has 30 TE saved up they can get many ranks ahead of you.
TE is mostly highly valued during this event due to the long cooldowns. Training Event:- Spoiler:
Summary:This event relies on chance, so it is somewhat less liked than other events by the community due to its volatile nature. You encounter bosses by going to training like normal, and randomly encountering them. They give out BT based on their rarity, and each time you encounter them their level increases. The first day you should be able to one or two shot most of them. By the second or third day their levels increase and it gets more difficult to fight them. Once they defeat you in battle you have a set amount of time to defeat them (30 mins for example), before they "flee." If you allow a boss to flee when you randomly encounter them you will re-encounter them and they will be a lower level. It costs 50 training points to face them again, and their health is always the same from the previous battle. The most confusing aspect of this event is asking for help from allies. You can only ask for help once the boss defeats you, and you have to face them again. You can only ask for help for you allies once in a set amount of time (an hour for example). It is a positive thing to ask for help from your allies, and you should do it any time you can. The reasoning behind this is that although they get less soul shards, they get a large amount of BT for helping you. For general figures, you get 100 BT for beating a boss, and 10 BT for assisting an ally. If utilized properly this is a steadier and more reliable way to gain rank than finding bosses alone.
Tips and Considerations: For a new player this event is a little challenging if you haven't allocated enough skill points to training points(the first skill mastery). If you are new I recommend casually competing up until the point that it's impossible to kill bosses before they flee. Even for 6* players there comes a point where the difficulty becomes too much.
Many players train in in chapter one, because the theory is that you get more chances to discover random monsters. I generally do this as well, but I have no scientific or mathematical backing to suggest either way is better.
To my knowledge this is the only event were you should need to put an event unit as your lead. Even then if it is a lower star rating than your lead card, take it down when done with training. The reason you do this is out of courtesy to your allies who need your help in taking down strong bosses. During the soul chasers event many people were frustrated taking down phantoms and only having allies with a lead that had a lvl 1 3* to help.
Potions are most highly valued during this event, so save them and sell them at this time. Note: The information for this section may be outdated for future events. The current event has "fever times" and special bosses. I am not overhauling this section until I see future events, but take the information provided with a grain of salt. Monster Recruitment Event:- Spoiler:
Summary:For this event you train and discover soul stones to awaken monsters you have previously earned through competitions. There are two different types of soul stones, soul stone small(sss) or soul stone large (ssl) .
You have three options as a new player;
1.)Sell the monster cards that you have earned along the way as well as soul stones to get extra TE,
2.)Save your monster units to strengthen your defense and sell soul stones for TE
3.) Save up feeders in your inbox and max your monsters (I would suggest during panel with experience boost), and sell them because often monsters are more valuable unconverted and maxed rather than converted to units. This option requires a lot of patience though XD
What you do depends on your playing style and goals. For my first recrutiment event I sold the monsters and soul stones I got from previous events so I could get better 5* units. The amount of soul stones you need to convert a monster to a unit can be found in outer threads. Training points found in the first skill mastery are important for this event as well.
I will post the link here: http://www.fantasicaunofficial.com/t2606-event-recruitment-fair-14th-december-17th-december
Final Thoughts: - Spoiler:
Please, please, please don't use TE or Potions (pots) when you're a new player. What I mean by this is save them for trading until you get enough 5*s to seriously compete, and even then use them towards the end of the event. There are two different types of TE and Pots, either regular or personal (p). The regular types are ones that can be traded for new units. A new 4* unit typically costs between 1-2 TE each. Don't waste TE (P) or Potion (P) either, because they are very valuable for competing. For example, my friend competed in a tower event because he wanted the card that was a reward for rank 200 and above. He grinded for 10 days straight and in the end he used 30 TE to secure his victory. Every time you waste TE a baby panda cries: - Spoiler:
(I have made a lot of baby pandas cry) Make a plan before you compete by looking at what types of prizes there are an set realistic goals for yourself. Ask yourself how much time you are able to commit, and if you want to put any money in at all. For example, let's say that you are aiming for rank 300 which has a 5* as a prize. Are the prizes under 300 so terrible that you would regret wasting your time if you didn't get the rank? For example, instead of a 5* getting 4 premium tickets. Also realize that often cards that are 5* and 6* from events tend to plummet in value after events. Ask yourself if the chance of ranking is worth more than the TE you would get from selling your event unit. Although events are very challenging they are a great way to make TE and get new units. My suggestion is that it is better to have a team of well rounded 4*s than one mediocre 5*. The way to get your first 5* is by maxing a 4* (leveling to 80) and trading them for 10 TE. Also pricecheck before you buy or trade anything, or this will happen: - Spoiler:
Instead of mashed potatoes, it will be your TE. The best way to get information about events is by checking the Current Events section of the forum. People post stats of units and monsters in the event, as well as very good advice.
Thank you for reading, and feel free to PM me or hit me up in game and ask for help.

| Minor correction: highest-awarding BT quest is actually 25-3.
Otherwise, a pretty good starter guide!

| Thanks for the guide:)
I still have a question to the Monster Recruitment event:
Do you achieve more Soulstones by repeating a training area which only costs 10 TP (like 1-5 for example) or do you get more/better SS in the training areas later?

| Maybe you could add that Chapters 1-4 don't give BT during Panel events.
Also, during Training/Rcruitment, it's a good thing to do the first chapters, not because of higher chances of finding bosses/SS, but because you spend less TP to advance. Then again, since they're luck-based, that may or may not help.

| @Harry: Sorry for the late reply, the discovery of sss is luck based. I don't think there is a best level for discovering them. I usually either go to 10-4 which has bears that spawn frequently. Either that or the chapter I feel has the best "mojo" XD.
@HoundR: Good, suggestions! I incorporated them into the guide. Thanks a lot!

Pretty sure that the quest cool down is 5min or at least doesn't change during panel event. And the cool down for the boss or special quests is 10 min. Also not that you have to add this but it is something that I didnt know for like 2 arena events and is so helpful, but you can use pots to keep going at a boss battle without losing progress on him. This is really important because bosses give huge bt points.

Maybe Team events, since that's how it's been labeled >>HERE<< Also, here's my guide for Team events: 1. You need to be really lucky to get in a good team 2. You need to be really lucky to create a team that is joined by good people 3. You need to be really lucky or spend a lot of money 4. You need to be really lucky or have someone on your team spend a lot of money 5. Cheer for the most popular unit. If Team events are the same as this one, then the special series pack related to said event won't include the winning unit 6. Don't be inactive... please. Or be inactive, but don't join a team xD And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the Most Definitely Complete And Most Definitely Comprehensive Guide to Team Events... or here's my Little Guide To Team Events: 1. Be lucky... and grind for those event items (what? every event asks for this?) For your attention, thanks *walks away while everyone claps in unison and awe*
