If this works like Venus Colosseum did, which it certainly appears to be, there will be 'boss' enemy parties at intervals -- at the end of each segment of the quest mode, then randomly once you've cleared them all and have reached an Endless mode. Also if you fight more difficult opponents, you are awarded more BT.

what is the definition of `difficult opponent'?

As the level of the units rises the amount of BT points also go up. If you are going against a party with low level units vs ones with much higher units, you will see the point differences.

Tested by units... Seems that there really is something off with the equation given. If I had to take a guess, I think unit cost plays a role in terms of damage.

Also, anyone gotten any vials? Did 3 runs in training and got nothing.

try to look at the album how many units and monster he/she haves in their album.

the lower the less likely it's a trap (low leader unit)

You get bonus BT by using the Vials.

Also, it looks like you get double damage in Battles by using the small vial. I'm assuming you get 3x damage using the large but haven't tested one yet.

My Yuki hit 100k with a Large Vial active. She is only level 67 [low 20-23k in Land/Air/Sea].
So 3x sounds about right?
I also got 141 BT Points for winning that battle.

Anyone knows the best level in training to get vials?

I assume there are 4-5 acts -- you hit a boss after every 20 matches.

After you get to endless arena, you will randomly fight bosses (you will know when you're fighting one, trust me).

Well, yeah. You need to use a vial beforehand and hope you happen upon a boss.

I remember seeing Oktavia, Reinhard, Saki and Minerva. All hiding behind a max 4*. Probably some are allies, since the points don't add up.

I got about 3 from 10-4 so far. Roughly two hours of trying too. I figured I'll keep doing 10-4 for the bears
