The 5 Star Quest

I still do not have a five star, but am working with what I got. Ya know, I kinda feel conflicted. I still think that after a certain amount of money spent, you should get a little something in return. However, I enjoyed the cards that I got, and have been consumed in playing and trading. I am not feeling so ripped off anymore. Maybe this is just a way to justify buying a few more boxes when the event kicks.........

I feel you, Syzygistic. I feel like I've said that a billion times. The value-for-money I've received in this game is pretty damn low, but watching over this community, helping people out, and the Erhard I got in the last event keep my hopes up for things.

On a good day I can earn about 400-500k luna, so I'm sure you can find ways to get a 5* eventually!

Mhm, she traded out her Erhard from the event after fighting tooth and nail for it through the event; then she got a Gerhard, Ignat, Thrain.. yeah o.o ups and downs.

Huh. Erhard killed me to get but I'm keeping him since he's a pretty decent 5*. Not sure I'd want either Gerhard or Thrain.

I have nothing against those.. well, they're not bad cards; not really, just.. I'd prefer not to trade for them :]

Edit: Also it seemed like everyone had a Gerhard or Victoria... so, interest = lost; what rank did you end on?

Gerhard has strong land attack, just uhh... Nothing else about him. Thrain is just ugly.

It's interesting how some cards just completely outclass others. Look at Miriam and, say... I don't know, who sucks? Friederike? None of the Dark Elves are particularly impressive.

And yeah, I have a lot of Vic/Edgar allies but I'm considering buying one or the other for myself as they're both relatively strong cards in their own right. I think I ended around 150. I was 100 and then stopped being gung ho about it the last two days since I was on vacation, and I was pleasantly surprised when it ended a day "early" and I had ranked within top 200.

Impressive , I ducked out for a beach trip and something else, I don't remember.. unfortunately I dipped from ~120 to 170 -_-

Edit: Miriam is comparable to Gleb, but a smidge weaker on the Land front but much better and fitting for the Air attack front.

My quest for a 5* is over!!!

I drew a Stephan on the only Army/Airforce pack I bought. Go figure I am content now ^_^

another 30 dollars blown another 5*less pack. its really aggrivating how this is literally pissing money to the wind.

2 5 stars in 1 pack of Armed Forces. Got Heide and Franz. I am super excited, as you can probably tell in game.

Anyway, thanks for letting me rant about the ups and downs of being a gambler in online ccg games. It is great to have a place like this.

This is literally gambling in card-form. Maybe use this as an excuse to stay away form slot machines.

One military box, one small premium box, and a few singles. Nothing, nada, zip, in the *5 or up department. ):

How many weeks does it take to save up for one the hard way? lol

took me about 3 weeks i think. But if you can manage the time, events will give you 5* and 6*, if you can manage to rank high up there lol

I wish. D: I'm around 650 rank in pvp, and pretty much everyone I can fight has a 5* or 6* for a leader. I wouldn't stand a chance at 200 or under... xD

For the first two days I was holding steady between 225-250 then I had this strange thing called a job to go do... Come back after work... 800th.... Did a volunteer walk with my family 1000th.

It's just a game and I got the two other cards so I can complain and I'm assuming they spent a lot of time and a lot of time elixirs to get up there.
