ok i will test that too then in one quest.

if it changes i will test all stages with 0 allies and i will add an ally every time to see the exp change

Exp definitely changes with each ally you add. For max exp, you'll want to deploy as many allies as possible.

Can't really count the mobs as my allies and I consist of a lot of knockbacks so they stack too much and I lose count!

and the single unit exp is different if you use less allies.

At this point I think we really only need to concern ourselves with the max EXP on a mission.
