[EVENT] The Venus Colosseum [Sept 14 - Sept 21]

I'm mostly buying elixirs for trading anyway, not for the event. I'm busy tomorrow and possibly Friday so we'll see how I do then.

Some of my elixirs are from trading cards, but I advertised at 60k each with a suggestion to "send trade," so I got quite a few random people who sent me trades with like 3 elix each. Also found someone selling 48 and bought those out, and a couple other people with a decent amount of elixirs who I think were just glad when I gave them a ton of money all at once.

Meanwhile, one of my allies' leaders is now a Level 120 SuperGloria.
Another of my allies' leaders is now a Level 6 Livia.

EDIT: Hah. Bought some and ran through 15 turns in a Large Brew, Agrippina showed up on #15. Jumped from #178th to #131st solely because of that stroke of luck.

Right now I'm really just trying to last out in the top 200. I'm pretty new so the only cards I got that's worth trading for elixirs is the ones I need to use. In luna I'm pretty poor as well so yeah. Just doing the fights when I can and hope to stay in the range. Razz

I think I have given up on to 200 rank. I got to 199 in BT points early on, but it has been a consistent drop to the 240 - 260 range. I can seem to move up from that, with the sleep drops. m tapped out on resources, thought about trying to sell my decent monsters, but not sure if it is worth it for the puch I would need. I am thinking 50 Time Elixers and 30 Brews (just guessing, no formal math) to break into the prize rank of a five star. I just do not have the resources necessary for such a push. It has been fun, though, maybe now I can relax a bit from the grind.

I am still exicited to have scored 3 different 5 stars during the event through purchases of boxes, and am happy to have them. They are not the most coveted or whatever, but I love each one of them. They make me happy, and that will be enough for awhile.

I'm trying to stay in top 200 -- the drops are a bit discouraging, and tomorrow I don't have much time, and friday, who knows? What worries me is battle ranking since I've been consistently dropping, heh.

I was top 200 ( 187 ) for an hour...the first day. I tried to keep up, but some people just have too much time lol. Guess they have to have something.

I used my Large elven elixir.
Went into the endless arena. Boss. Agrippina. I'm thinkin' "Awwww yeahhhh, tons of points!"
Dog barks. Hand slips. Hit "no". Mad

There shouldn't be much of Friday to worry about, no? The event notice says it ends Friday morning at 2 AM PST.

I have no intention of being awake at 5 AM EST, which is why I'm anxious. It's a balancing act between "spend a million and finish in #150th instead of #190th" and "spend a million to avoid finishing #203rd" in my brain. (Or "spend another million and STILL finish #203rd.")

I have pretty much given up being in the rank 200 bracket. It's simply too time consuming for me right now so guess I'll have to settle for some premium tickets. Razz

I can prepare a bit more for next event at least now. This one was of a rather short notice to me. <.<

So something interesting... got on went into the colo for the second time, looking through the player list and low and behold... Clocks! is on my avaiable oppenent list... needless to say im not crazy enough to take on her. lol.

Considering I fail my battles against people full of 4*s I'm pretty sure you could use me as a punching bag. ;___;

At least you guys can say you have useful allies. One of the reasons I gave up on this event was due to the vast majority of mine resorting to using lvl 20 1*s. Even grinding EXP right now for my new Units is tedious.

Blame the other allies you have who wanted a go! Razz

It's funny when you get super strong allies when you're fighting, like, Nils, and then you need their help in a battle and you get a weak ally instead. =__=

Demon's Tower and this event are easier when you have better units and allies. Demon's Tower was 3 allies and 1 of your own units, and the like. But as you get stronger you'll do better, etc, so don't give up, it really does get better. Smile

if you want your welcome to add me. just let me know in private message if your name is different but i keep several slots open mostly because a lot of my allies dont do brave or arent on for a while, so i slowly remove them after a set peroid of time minus one person and forum users ive added

But that's kind of shitty, like I can see wanting to trick people into attacking you and then losing 10m and not getting a victory point, but then you screw your allies that way. I'd rather have my allies not mad at me. Razz
