[1] Board/Dice/CasinoExcept for the early (pre-cannon) guild wars this is the most fun I've had in Fanta. It's casual-friendly, does not get dull and the rewards are great.
[2] RaisingThe assist system, sharing bosses, in Here There be Dragons was super addictive. It has room for improvement, sure, but I had a lot of fun with it. Sad that there have been no more events like it in JP.
[3] Popularity/Princess DefenseThe dialogue, humour and "story" of this event made it a lot of fun. I didn't do very well (my tactics was a fail) on this one but I still enjoyed it and I'm still looking forward to the next one.
[4] ColoGotta love Colo, it has team building, lots of rewards and PVP.
[5] Mina's TrialsI've only played one Mina's Trials but I liked it a lot and wish we'd see more of them.
[6] Training-TowerI like these because they don't have the tedious "assist" aspect of regular Training events.
[7] TowerNever played a proper tower event, only the crippled one we had as a filler before GW, but I could see myself having fun with this if they fleshed it out.
[8] Guild warOh, my friend, how you have slipped. GW used to be number one on my list but then one day I had to face reality, and real life takes priority, sorry Fanta. Hence it's no longer as fun as it was when I could play it properly. Also, thumbs down for the cannon.
[9] TrainingThis used to be way higher on my list. I still think these events are bearable (over panel and gifting) but they are starting to feel more and more tedious. And the dragon event made the assist system in training a joke.
[10] Battle ArenaI've only played BA3 but the drop rate of tickets was way too low. It was pay-to-play and it did not do it for me. A total revamp of this event type could be awesome, though.
[11] PanelTedious grind, horribly pay-to-win. Enhance bonus is the only redeeming quality of this event. Enough said.
[12] GiftingMy summary of Gifting events (I have posted this before):
- Spoiler:
The Good
+ Some easy rewards from getting gifts early on
The Bad
- Have to be online at fixed times of crisis quests
- Have to manage 6-hour segments after which item send caps reset
- Have to manage 10-minute cooldowns between sending to a single person
- Have to manage 5-minute cooldowns of normal quests
- Normal quests can give 0 items as reward
- Unlike panel, no panel rewards (i.e. no juicy enhance bonus)
- Unlike panel, higher tier battles don't give much better rewards
- Heavily pay-to-win because burning TE during crisis pales next to ticket battles
- Event units are largely useless, only help in battles, don't give more items
- Point rewards come from other peoples work, not your own (thanks GnatB!)
The Ugly
--- Potentially guilt tripped into spending to re-pay allies gifting you
--- Lots of whining in chat ("need more gifts plz!")
