I've also used... seven? Pots this event to test things out and to erk out another 20-60 Lanterns to get earlier prizes. But mostly it's my leader is Reve so there are cycles of hitting 3-6 encounters a 250 TP run.

Werewolf is LV17 I think, Vamp Lady is 3, Frankenstein is now 5, Ghost is 9, and Witch is 12. Well, these are when I meet each of them next. I can no longer 1-Hit anything that isn't Frankenstein or Vamp Lady. Werewolf is the only one that hits at any ferocity to be a real... problem.

Vamp and Frankenstein haven't hit me yet.
Ghost hits for about a quarter (I think, I only just got hit my last encounter).
Witch hits for a third.
Werewolf hits for sixth or seventh? But the thing hits fast and constant. So I'm down to half/less than half even with Achillea taking point, hitting just as fast and with all damage on my side.

I do have one set as my leader, its only a 4*, and I thought maybe that had something to do with it, but someone earlier (Cant remember who now) said they got a Vampiress with only having a DB 4* as their leader

And I got a Vampiress with Bernhard as my leader. AFAIK, Dream Breakers affect boss frequency but not necessarily boss quality.

Keep at it, they will come. I'm beating on 10-4 as a happy medium so that I get a decent number of chances and a decent number of bears.

Encounters are random, with the lower star monsters being more common... high-star monsters are around for everyone, just their encounter rate isn't that impressive. Hence very few Vamp Lady interactions for me, but tons of Witch and Ghost sightings.

Its not that I'm only getting lower star monsters, its that I'm not getting any, I've gotten 3 using about 1800 training points. And I just felt like that was kind of low, and didnt know if anyone else was getting that low a count

Use a DB unit? I used Oneiro and have already encountered 3 in one go (probably lucky as well) Where as when I used Mihiro, didn't get a single one even after used up the full training bar >_<

I have 4* Oneiro as leader.

Encountering 2-3 bosses per 250 TP.

Got frankenstein, ghost, witch, and Vampiress already 4-5 times each.

Maybe it's just luck.

It also seems cyclical. I have some runs through training with 0-1 encounters, and others with 3-5. I'm not sure what's governing the changes but that's how it goes.

I'm using my usual favorite training area, which is 7-5, for almost all of this now. I'll build the new area later.

Also, correction on Witch, it hits for more like a quarter-fifth, not a third. Ghost hits for a fifth (I think, but it doesn't hit me too often).

Vamp and Frank still haven't hit me. But I've had another encounter each with them. I'm guessing Vamp hits for ALL your damage, since it's 6-Star.

It's luck as well, as I've used 2 - 3 training bars of 283 TP and I don't have a single encounter on that time, and I'm using Sogno as my leader

Out of curiosity I let Frankenstein hit me - she hits for 100% damage.

I couldn't really say how important potions are to this event just yet, since we don't really know the exact relationship between monster level and lanterns earned. Frankly, I struggle to get more than 50 Lanterns per 300 training points, but my opponent monsters are all under level 10, so perhaps the ratio gets better later on.

Or so we hope. If it really was 50 lanterns/potion, it would cost about 2000 potions. Which... in perspective, is actually not terribly expensive for a 6 star if you got onto the potion market during the previous event.

Sorry if this was already answered, but does using a DB unit during a boss battle get you extra points/lanterns? Or can I use any card?

At Lv5 Vamp Lady starts giving out 100+ Lanterns.
At Lv15 I got the same treatment from Werewolf (give or take 10 lanterns or so).
My 4-Star encounters still give 20-40 Lanterns. (Lv10-15)

So the 100k prize will get less Pot expensive the further into the event you go as things ramp up provided you can continue to kill without need of allies. And you get pretty good recoveries of PB/Lanterns for using Candy.

Part of the Notice, under Jack o Lanterns reads:

"Collecting rewards does not require you to forfeit your Jack o' Lanterns. You'll still retain all of your shards even after you've received your rewards."

Does this mean if I have 100 lanterns and purchase the "Sweet Candy x1" (Lanterns Required:50), then I will still have 100 lanterns? I would like confirmation on this, please. Have people been receiving event rewards already?

This event is a little weird..... but I'm enjoying it. Happy Halloween everyone!
