11/5 Maintenance -- Rollback of BT pts to 11/4 levels

This emergancy maintance is now in its fourth hour. Im guessing they are havi ng problems. As i live in the uk this is causing me problems (no game play)
Also need to log on to check my user id for the registration issue.

I'm hoping that whatever this maintenance is supposed to address, it's something useful (obviously it's way too long, but if it's fixing some really bad security hole then that's better than them just fluffing about as per usual).

The inside news is that someone let out the nuclear powered hamsters, who are now proceeding to go on a rampage throughout the city. They attempting to irradiate some new hamsters, but they aren't taking to the treatment as well. The hotfix involved pumping them full of steroids before the irradiation, but that just caused them to want to organize a gerbilball team. The gerbils revolted.

They did. Significantly moved me up in the ranks. From 250ish last night to 196 this morning.

The problem with rollbacks. I was so disgusted with this event, I didn't play as much during the weekend and stopped burning potions. Now while others lost effort, since most of mine was before the weekend I went up. Not really fair to be honest, but the added day will let those who did burn pots get back up there. So I'm sure I'll drop back down by the time things are done.

Plus it doesn't look like lanterns reset at all, only BT.

Yeah my lanterns are still solid too, just BT rank fell, also they refunded quite a few candies, more then just the 3 everyone else seemed to get

Check the announcements, they had to do a roll back.

So the net effect, at first glance, is that the harder you pressed this weekend the worse you made it on yourself. Your item use was nullified (no net gain or loss, you got them back today) but you gained zero BT over the eliminated period. However, the loss stems from much more difficult bosses.

Given that this happened on a weekend, this places an advantage of disputable size in the hands of those who can still sink their time into the game during the normal week.

Noooo! I worked so hard yesterday to make it in the top 1000 [which I achieved].
All that was a waste and I'm now ranked 1250. =[
Grinding this event for another day is NOT what I wanted to do.
I'm not mad about the rollback, I'm just disappointed they waited a whole day to do it. D:

Very much this, describes the situation of several friends and myself perfectly. Spent very little time with this event but after realizing we all could reach ranks under 1000 decide to grind it out all Sunday (while watching football) all managed to break into the top 1000 only to find out the next day we had all dropped pretty far in rank in my case over 500 places. The gifted items and extra day are nice but they really don't make up for the big increase in Monster levels, I understand why they only rolled-back certain parts but it's still disappointing that I'll more than likely miss out on multiple rewards because of it.
