Fantasica is the Top Grossing App in Mobage (Google Play, SEA)

Yes, you've heard that right, Fantasica is the Top Grossing App in Mobage for South East Asia right now.

EDIT: Apparently, ROB is No.1 in some countries, so I've added SEA in the title, all statistics are from my country, Singapore, so this are most likely SEA statistics. The link above may not show accurately the statistics that I have shown here.

This definitely means that Fantasica will not be shutting down anytime soon.

Fantasica is No.43 in the charts, following up with Blood Brothers at No.62 and Rage of Bahamut at No.77.

Fantasica still can't beat games such as Brave Frontier (which is at No.1 btw), Clash of Clans, Summoner Wars, Candy Crush Saga, Soccer Spirits and even Knights and Dragons.

(Personally, I have played Knights and Dragons myself and it's one of the games that I won't recommend playing, yet it still can beat Fantasica. It's something)

Other games worth mentioning in this list are Age of Ishtaria, Quiz RPG, Chaos Drive, School Idol Festival.

Super Battle Tactics are amongst the top 300.

Quite the interesting discovery. Even with all the bad things we've seen about Fanta, it seems that the game still atracts a lot of players. Or maybe the crazy money they get from their few whales makes up for the rest of the low-spender crowds from other games.

To be honest, i'm expecting Hearthstone to shatter all competition and become the best mobile game in a lot of charts, including this one. Its game model, coupled with the incoming expansion, will surely rock everything down, just like Blizzard has done with WoW when it debutted.

Not quite sure what to make of this since what many of us has noticed is a drop in the player base on the international server.  (Just keep an eye on where you fall in rankings during an event that you don't play, just log in and maybe assist -- I've noticed that the number of players above me, actually doing something even if small, has shrunk significantly over the past few months.)

I also have personally stopped spending in this game due to a few reasons, one of which is that the new art isn't appealing to me (too sexist/porno for my taste) but mainly because of all of the errors and screw ups. You can't count on what you earn being valuable at all -- look at the tank girl event where some of us worked hard to earn the 8* ticket, and then they ended up giving that ticket to many many players who didn't earn it, just as one of many recent examples.

So the player base shrinking has not surprised me.When I saw the numbers I thought that yes, this fitss with my own personal experience (playing less, not spending, etc) and what I've heard from other veteran players.  So I'm REALLY surprised to see that the game is such a high money maker. WHO is spending so much money on this game and why?  I'm not trying to be obtuse, I just honestly don't get it.
