I'm not sure Ability level impacts anything in the event? I mean it would probably impact Poison or Slow of the options there, with Poison being a bit better in my opinion.

Also don't use an Atack Booster, they have to activate to be of value, which is not 100%. Making them space eaters (especially if they can't boost your whole team and Claudio is weak without boosting the other members constantly).

Oh, hm, you're totally right Rakath. I forgot about having to have the attack boosters activate.

I do know that at least for the Venus event the level of the skill impacted how far back a unit would be knocked, or the duration of the poison, etc. Poison was a pretty good skill so I'll likely switch between that and Slow.

If you want to use a attack booster, best one is Camille really. He can boost himself, while still dealing quite a bit of damage from his base stats. Not to mention his B speed.

Knockback is the strongest of the effects, but I doubt it gets much stronger based on an added level. Since it took a unit well out of the order. I might try to keep count this time, of how far someone falls from Knockbacks 4 and 5 since I'll have those in my party.

Poison is a pretty solid skill, and it's good to have one to counteract anyone else's poison. Cause the chip damage does add up in the end. Even if it isn't as palpable as Area, or as obnoxious as Knockback.

Knockback just knocks them back to the end of the current turn-list. You'll see that if you knock several units in a row, they'll all attack after everyone else has.

That said, poison and slow do benefit from extra skill levels.

Could higher skill levels for effects make them trigger more often? I kinda noticed 6*s triggering effects more often during the VC event, but that's just me.

Thanks. Was too lazy to do the math...but I probably will once I get my 5* princesses at 80+. Given what you said, it may be a case of me using Achillea ~lvl60 until I can get Kyo and Mihiro both to 80ish and then work on Remika. I'd feel more confident if we knew what the attack speed bonus is as well. Anyone?

Edit: And don't forget, quicker attack for you = more attacks per match = less attacks for your opponent

That's my guess, but I was never clear if the higher skill level made the skill more effectual (farther knockback, etc.) or trigger more often. Definitely curious to know if anyone knows.

Hmm...so is this why it seemed like sometimes I'd trigger a knockback and it only bumped them back a couple spots? So even in these battles slower knockback units aren't nearly as good as fast ones?

I don't think this formula is quite right.
Based on my experience from VC. Units were all maxed.

Robert > Achilles > Yuriya

Yes, Robert was hitting harder than the other 2. I don't remember my Skill Modifiers, but you'd think Yuriya would hit harder since she has all 3 types of attacks

Aside from Achillea, that seems correct.

With 20% boosts:

Robert: 39220
Yuriya: 37701
Achillea: 43481

Where you may have experienced a difference is if your skill boosts were uneven, or lower.

Robert and Achilles are affected by the same skill boost no? - land and sea?
So by your numbers Ach > Robert, but that wasn't the case.

Robert was also faster than Ach as well.

is it just me or does Mihiro attack quite fast for a "D speed"?

Actually, I only have 5 6* allies, while everyone else is mostly 5*.

Even still got a few 4* ally leaders as well.

Might get rid of one 6* ally, because I think he only added me to gain the advantage in the top 10 (Since I was pretty much online all the time during the event....)
