| What place are you in with 440 wins? (362 wins has me in 367th.) Consider that the further out you are, the more people you're going to have to pass who are likely to be doing the same thing.
If 106 more wins will put you WAY up into the low 100s, it may be worth the risk. Alternatively, those 106 TEs could probably buy you a Stefan, who's much less fapworthy but has very similar stats. | |

| I have a Stefan for sale at 120TE! :p
But I think what people should consider is this -- can you spend those TE to get an equivalent/better 5*? Can you resell the event 5* later for as much or more than the TE you spent getting it? If so, then it might make sense to burn TEs to get into some rank. If not, then save them and use them for something else. | |

| Hi guys,
This is the first event that I bought Fantapoints to participate in.
I'm currently ranked 150/147. I have to use TEs since my ranks slip when I work.
I didn't sleep much because I'm obssessed enough about maintaining rank. Probably managed 8 hours of sleep for the whole week. No, I hate coffee.
It can be done! Huff huff....

depends on how far you are from 200, and if you wanna gamble on you keeping rank by the end of the night. Be in game before event's end. So I get ~465-467 wins on 23:00 . When I used my te, I get ~18-21 te and 3, so finally will have 592-595 wins. | |

Since the price of Large Vials has dropped significantly, I've been using Large Vials for every battle since 2PM PST today, which allowed me to progress from 300->240. I've also kept track of exactly how much BT I've gotten for every battle today
My philosophy has actually been if I can get about 1000 ADDITIONAL (meaning the BP earned soley from the +180% compared to Small Vial) BP per Large Vial, it's worth spending 1TE on a Large Vial, since you'll break even on the cost due to getting 3TE every 3000BT.
Calculation of Extra BP, for those who care:
<Total BP Earned From Battle> * .6 = <Total Excess BP Earned From Battle compared to S Vial>
I could give a proof of theory if you REALLY want me to, but given that an SVial gives +20% BT and LVial Gives +200% BT, it should be pretty obvious.
So far, 30 Large Vials in, I'm down about 1800BT. So in total, it's cost me about 1.8TE to make the jump if each Large Vial cost me 1TE. Of course, there's the chance I won't break the last 3000 and take a big hit there, AND it requires Large Vials to be around 1TE each, so take it as you will.
TL;DR 1TE per Large Vial might be worth it. | |

1) Bosses are really streaky, to the extent this works it's because of the 6-7 Faith/Georgios/Vines I've gotten during the 180 or so runs.
2) My estimate (based on a sample) is about 1.3TE per LV. This doesn't account for the opportunity cost (what you would have gotten with SV), which is about .5TE/SV. So payoff is about .8TE, so not quite there.
3) I've gone 5 hours with no bosses, twice. I think this is "bad" luck. Better luck would tip you closer to break-even.
Net result, I'm really happy. I went from ~270 to 138 in BT Rank, ended up with more TE than I started and am in a position to compete for one or both rankings.

Frankly speaking, I think this game is not about luck, because when you talk about luck, it should be a fair game. Everyone at anytime has the same probability of running into a boss/ drawing a card. But based on my experiences, this game, they reduce the chance of successful if you try more attempts. I have tried burning 10 TE in 15mins end up running into only one boss.. however, over the course of the event, normally I run into boss once every 3 try. That being said, they have a hidden "cool down time" or "born clock" for everything, every "random" event | |
