Best Level for 4* Feeders?

Thanks to other user who made the calculation i know that the best level (only looking that you dont get a xp loss) for a 2* feeder is level 4 and for a 3* feeder is level 10. But what is the best level for a 4* feeder? I know that most sell them at level 40 but is that the best level or a "random" level. Did anyone made the calculation?

If you're looking for hard numbers:
42,660 exp to lv40
191,600 exp to lv80

So it would take 22% of the time to get to 40 vs 80.

Additionally--
lv40 gives 18,900 exp (base) when fed
lv80 gives 36,900 exp (base) when fed

So a lv 40 gives more than half what a lv80 gives.

Best thing is to sell lv40s, but not all buyers get the numbers, and they want to feed maxed 4*s to their 6*s.

Thats not the answer of my question and therefore would be wrong.

I looked through the forum and made some calculations. The question at what Level have the 4* feeder to be to gain the most xp regardless of all other (luna, number of feeders you need...).

To answer this question you only need a few numbers. I made the tests with Blessing of the Valkyrie Level 10.

Other important things to know:

Base XP value of 1* Card: 150
Base XP value of 4* Card: 1350
XP gain per Level of a 4* Card: 450

And to show the differenc of a 3* feeder:
Base XP value of 3* Card: 900
XP gain per Level of a 3* Card: 300

To answer the question you have to know at which level of the 4* feeders that it costs more xp to enhance the feeder, than to feed the 1* direct to your main card.

Answer is incredible easy: Base value is 150 of a 1* card, XP gain per level of a 4* feeder is 450. Therefore atm where you need more than 3 1* card to enhance your 4* feeder you loose xp.

And thats means level 11 is the target level. To upgrade a level 11 4* to level 12 you need 4 1* cards and loose xp. To geht a Level 1 4* card to level 11 you need to feed 19 1* card and now we can get the results.

Feed all units directly gives you: 4200 xp (19*150+1350)
Enhance the 4* to level 11 and feed gives you: 5850 xp (10*450+1350)

So you gain 1650 xp if you feed your lvl 11 4* instead of all cards directly. For every other level of your 4* you loose at least 150 xp per level (as long as you can enhance one level with 4 1* its 150, with 5 1* ist 300 and so on).

And in short for a lvl 11 3*:
Feed all units directly gives you: 3750 xp (19*150+900)
Enhance the 3* to level 11 and feed gives you: 3900 xp (10*300+900)

Interesting thing is that a level 11 4* feeder is 1950 xp better than a level 11 3* feeder which means you get 50% more xp!

So if you have a nearly unlimited amount of 4* units and are only interested in gain as much xp as possible you should bring them to level 11 and feed it.

Why did you ask the question if you're obviously able to do the math yourself? And more importantly, why do you say the best level for 3* feeders is level 10 if you can do the math?

I level my 3*s to level 7 by feeding them 8 1*s of which 4 are melee or monster type. You can substitute three 1*s with a fresh 2* if you have more 2*s in your list than you have 1*s (like I often do). I found that sets of level 7 3*s sell just as well as sets of level 10 3*s (for 1 TE that is - if you can get more for a set of level 10 3*s, then kudoos to you), so even if you plan on selling them instead of sacrificing them, stopping at level 7 is the way to go.


Oh and of course a panel bonus changes everything.

A few days ago i didnt have all information to make the math. and i really thought that somebody already made it.

I dont think thats a good ideal to try to sell level 11 4* it could be really hard to get enough that it is worth.

But it is really worth it if you have some 4* that you want to use as feeders and get the most out of it. Im nearly always short of 1* cards so i try to get the absolutely most xp out of it.

If you have 4* flowing out of your inbox, then sure do the lvl11 method, but most players don't have that luxury, so I say doing the lvl40 is the most time efficient.

Depends on how you define best actually.

If you are a free player buying f.4*s from the market at 2-3TE per set then max would be the best level or at the very least lv 40.

If you have over 1000 4*s in your inbox then the better way would be to make use of that quantity with lower levels

During Enhance Boost Event & B.o.t.V. the best you can do should be enhancing your 4*s with matching type (e.g. melee/missile/magic) units to lvl15(takes 23 1*) or lvl16(takes 26 1*). Both grant you an exp net gain of 19 1*cards.

If you dont want to worry that much about types (but still have Boost Event & B.o.t.V) you should enhance them to lvl12 (15 1*s including 4 matching types), lvl 16 (27 1*s including 6 matching types) or any level between. They all grant you an exp net gain of 18 1*cards.

(Have only tested some of them, but the calculations seem correct)

I get the same results. So i take them to level 16 (24 1* any type). I cant match them because im short of 1*. And as you said all between level 12 and 16 is good.
