I'm still stuck on h4. I can't seem to get the right allies out. I also need to get my troops lvl up low 30, 4 stars aren't cutting it. Lol

My strategy for Inferno 5

Top:-Agnes(anton could work) Victoria(ally) Yuriya(Gloria maybe works) Bottom:- plautia (a max lise/sergei/gleb could work) (my unit), charles (ally). Make sure that the units are arrange so that there is a gap of one unit between top and bottom placement. Yuri will poison, charles and vic will kill most enemies and anything that slips pass will be knock backed by the the other units.

The biggest issue with Inferno 4 is that a very good missile ally is needed. I failed it a few dozen times until I sweet-talked my way into a maxed Edgar on tap. The Lizard Men (magic), Mummies (melee), and end bosses are manageable but you have to be able to take out the Imp zerg rush reliably.

Anyone got any advice for inferno 2? D:

I'm stuck on Inferno 2 as well. I can either clear everything except for the 2 9-tail foxes with a slightly more melee bent setup or miss a whole load of stuff in the middle and manage to kill the foxes. No idea how to get pass this even with a pure KB setup.

I used Level 40 Achilea, Level 40 Miriam, Level 40 Gleb and allies Level 78 Erhad, Level 51 Sergei

Agnes, Yuri and Charles were max. Vic was around lv 95 and Plau was around 79

My successful Inferno5 layout:

Far right: Edgar (ally), Slow 5
Just to his left: Faith (ally), Area Effect 6
Spaced out slightly to the left, staggered up-down-up: Anton, Achillea, Gleb, all KB 4

Edgar has the dual advantages of being missile-based (otherwise the Griffons are a major pain) and Slow 5, so one shot from him knocks anything down to a crawl. This leads to bunching up that makes Faith's Area Effect 6 very effective. The three others are there as goalies, kicking everyone else back into play for Faith to nuke them; staggering them slightly can produce a nice chain effect, Gleb knocking a Stray Cat into Achillea's range for another KB and so on. The Noa at the end is the only flying enemy, so having only Gleb with aerial knockback isn't a major disadvantage.

Even a maxed 6* will have problems if it's hitting the wrong attack types or isn't balanced with the other units.

For Inferno 5, you're going to need to hit a few key points:

* Substantial knockback, preferably from multiple sources. You need to punt Stray Cats back into play where your heavy hitters can deal with them, and if you only have one knockback unit things will run right by while he/she reloads.

* At least one source of Slow up front, possibly more. If everything runs by at full speed you might need all 6*s to succeed.

* Heavy damage all around. The trolls have massive HP bars, the skeletons can be meleed but come in bunches, and you will want to drop the cats quickly.

* Some source of missile damage, mostly for the Griffons and the Noa. The Griffons aren't flyers, despite appearances, but they are hefty and resistant to melee and magic.

i have the following units:

Fiona lvl 60 and lvl 1 (poison 5)
Achillea lvl 53 ( KB 5 but no air dammage)
Chris lvl 42 (no skill)
Miriam lvl 39 (KB 4)
Anton lvl 36 (KB 4)
Livia lvl 31 (poison 4)
Mylene lvl 29 (no skill)

what would you suggest?
atm looking for good allies who can help me but no succes with that so far

I only had 48% now my best was 93% but the 2 allies i had at that time removed me.

Well, I haven't even really come close on Inferno 1 so far, so you got me licked if you're grinding out I5.

I got 94% once, on I1. My allies are strong, but most can't hit flying, or are not knockback... NapkinPower is a magic user with slow, so probably not the best for that. I think ranged with knockback is the key, right?

I need one more ally with hardhit and knockback...

Thought I'd share my set-up for I5 as well... I didn't have any missile units; was too lazy to train them

I had Adolph on top far right, with Faith right beside. Plau was half a unit spacing away to the left of Faith.
On the bottom I had Vlad on the far right, and Vic opposite, and half a unit spacing away to the right of where Plau was.

Well basically 1 kb at front, 2 dmg in between, 2 kb at back.
On a side note, I3 and I4 were hell without missile units though

Gonna try to finish hard mode atleast in these 2 days.[/rant]

my ally give an idea from passed i5. put 2 powerful damage at the front and 3 kb at back is really work

I thought I'd post my Inferno 5 setup, since some people are having trouble. (Space = 1 square = 1/2 character width)


In this setup, Edgar slows the incoming mobs, Cornelia uses area attacks to clear most of the mobs, and the 3 remaining use knockback to push the faster mobs into Cornelia's area attack range. I originally switched Plautia and Achillea, but that allowed Nue to slip by at the end (since he's an air mob). Moving Plautia further back allowed her to knock Nue into Edgar's range, and with slow and knockback, he was a pussycat.

Thanks to my allies with Cornelia and Edgar! You two were key!
