How do YOU pronounce "Fantasica?"

I have trouble every time I want to recommend this game to a friend over the phone. I try several different pronunciations, and then I just give up and tell them I'll text the name to them . So, how do YOU pronounce "Fantasica?" Is it with a straight "s" sound? More of a "zh" shound? Short "a," long "a?"

I think I've settled on Fan-tay-zhi-kuh. (Not able to copy and paste the symbols from m-w )

Fan as in a fan, "tah" as in, like, I dunno, tattoo or something, and then it's sorta like "sick" but with an "uh" at the end.

i thought it should sound something like:

jee sounding similar to geez

think japanese...

I always assumed it was Fan (As in fan, duh)- Tas(as in tassle)- ic(As in ick) a(Like uh).

I've totally had this problem before lol. When people ask me what game I'm playing, I always feel weird having to pronounce Fantasica.

I pronounce it the same way Clocks pronounced it.

not sure why I say that "ta" in fanta that way, but oh well. I pronounce it "tah" when just saying fanta.

pronounced just the same as the front part of Fantastic,
but with -ica in the back.

I imagine you might be able to pronounce it like the front part of Fantasy,
but the Japanese pronunciation gives it more like Fantastic.

well fantasica is a play on the way japanese use acronyms.
like they pronounce "game" as "ge-mu" but stuff like erotic games they simply say (ero-ge)
its the same with card. card -> ka-do (ka) (fantasy-ka) --> fantasica

so fan-ta-see-ka or (fantasy)-ka

Well, ファンタジカ = Fan ta ji ka, so yeah, pretty much.

Yup, you're right. Mobage is the same, actually: "Mobile-game." For some reason I didn't even think of the Japanese pronunciation of it, but now that I've said it a few times, it sounds pretty natural. Like the post above mine, though, you'll have to change "see" to "ji" (gee) as they don't have the sound "see."

I speak English so I pronounce it the way it is spelled to save confusion.
The closest representation is the word Fantastic. If you minus the 't' and
add an 'a' at the end you can easily figure it out.

really doesn't matter. Call it what you like

As for Mobage, well... I always pronounce it as moe-bah-geh, the same as
Roatanhi ^
