Step-Up Pack Vol. 1

Just saw that the Japanese wiki has been updated with a new addition to the regular card pack (at least that's what I could make out of the article).

The units match the new silhouettes pointed out by Memphy earlier in another thread:

The Step Up Pack Vol. 1 is a series of 7 progressive "steps" that a player can buy, with each step providing a larger chance to draw a 6*, and more cards in general.

Step 1: 100 MC/FP 1 Card 1TE

Step 2: 300 MC/FP 2 Cards 1TE 6* chance x2

Step 3: 500 MC/FP 3 Cards 1TE 6* chance x3.1

Step 4: 1000 MC/FP 4 Cards 1TE 6* chance x4.4 1Pot

Step 5: 2000 MC/FP 5 Cards 2TE 6* chance x6.3 2Pot

Step 6: 3000 MC/FP 7 Cards 3TE 6* chance x8.3 3Pot

Step 7: 5000 MC/FP 12 Cards 5TE 6* chance x10 5Pot

Each consumable is (p) and all multipliers are compared to step 1

This is to be confirmed, but these units should be
available in packs and boxes once the Step-Up
promotion is over.

We suspect that when the step up pack ends, so will the Dark Elf pulls.

Actually, the step up event (Loosely translated) seems to be similar to the boot camp event on second thought.

Maybe it's an event for New/Returning players to give them a chance to 'catch up'?

How do they work? They get more expensive as you buy them and with that, the rate to get a 6 Star card raises as well?

Exactly like that.

Some calculations:

After you spend 6900 MC for steps 1-6, (6900 MC/22 cards = 314 MC/card) (and increased chances for 6*)

At step 7, for 5000 MC you get a 10x chance for a 6* (5000 MC/12 cards = 417 MC/card)

Normal Megabox is (3000 MC /14 =214 MC/card)

So at the final step it is 2x expensive with a 10x 6* chance (compared to a 3000MC Megabox)

Thanks for the Calculation. So less cards, but higher chances of getting a 6 Star...if you put enough coins in there to begin with.
I just want a 6* Star finally, put over 250 Euros in the game and barely got anything out of it. *sighs* I know there are others who got it worse though.

Yes, 10x sounds great but normal 6* chance is believed to be 0.2-0.4 %, so 10x is 2-4 %

Can you buy one/a few step at a time and it will save your "progression" or will the progression be lost once you stop "stepping-up"? (meaning you have to buy step1-6 again if you want a step7 pack later on)

I received a 3*, 4*, and a 5* from going up to Step 2. I suppose I can't complain too much considering I received a 5* (Julia) from a single pull. Still looking for that elusive 6* card though.

not to bad seconf 6* first one was Rouge after 17 packs during chrismas.

With all theses cards pulled, the 5* card value will drop a lot......
