It is one of the darkest games ive ever played and i love it. As for dragon quest... i loved the dragon warriors for nes... but ever since we got the dragon quest bit afterwards... it just didnt seem as interesting... i know its the same game title series in the end but just didnt like anything after the new ones.

| Odin Sphere was my favorite RPG on PS2, awesome art (similar to Fantasica). Side scroller, like the arcade games of yore, with a decent plot line and leveling system. | |

But just a few there I am a big ps2 fan have about 300 games for that system Suikoden is my favorite series, so much diversity in characters. 1 and 2 were the best! Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, and Playstation version, is my favorite ever game. 10+ playthroughs, 100+ hours on each.

Suikoden, played every game in the series through multiple times. Makumaku, mokumoku, etc. were awesome!

| Anyone ever played Okami for PS2? It's possibly my favorite game ever. (It's also available for Wii, and its mini-sequel of sorts is available for Nintendo DS. They're releasing an HD version for PS3, as well.) It's full of Japanese mythology and folklore, and you get to play as a wolf/goddess. The art is really cool to look at, and it's pretty unique--though it's often compared to LoZ games in some ways. Also, for anyone who has a Nintendo DS, I suggest the Etrian Odyssey games. There are three of them, though I've only played the first one so far, and number four has been released for the 3DS in Japan. It's an awesome hybrid of dungeon-crawler and turn based RPG. It's very hard to describe all the different features, but one of the big ones involves mapping the floors of the place you explore on the touch screen. I was totally addicted for weeks, and it can be pretty challenging at times. I suggest you all try it out. | |

Etrian odyssey reminds me a lot of the old wizardry games. Ahh brings back memories?

Yes disgaea is an awesome series... a different kind of tactics rpg, kinda like fire emblem. Best Fire Emblem game was probably the one of the gameboy advance... also Golden Sun is a great rpg too.

| How did I forget about Fire Emblem?! I love that series! My friend and I used to sit and play the game together, then read the dialogue when it came to it. When we played Sacred Stones, she had to be Ephraim. Every time. She also read for every random soldier dude who came in and announced stuff. So fun. I was always... Seth, Matthew, Hector, Kent, and Markus. Because nobody ever wanted to read for Markus. xDD (Craptastic stats... xP) I love how, looking back, I mostly read males... even though I'm a girl. LOL I do a mean Serra, though. (I wrote a FE7 fanfic, too, about Kent and Sain babysitting... what fun! xD) | |
